Here's a run-down so you can know what to expect:
At Noon PST (in a pinch over 1 hour from now) I'll make a post on both Patreon and Toyhouse ready to accept purchases.
All you have to do is write a comment on either the Patreon post or my Toyhouse bulletin saying you want to claim one, and whether you'd like to use Cashapp, Stripe, or PayPal. (paypal and stripe payments will be done through my Ko-Fi). All these instructions will also be in the sales post :^] If you get a print, I'll have you DM me your mailing address.
The prints are $30 each and come with a few other treats. USA shipping is free, and Intl. shipping has extra fees.

With the help of Frances, I've made a very limited run of embossed "prints" all transferred by hand. Somethin funky!!! I illustrated the panel formatting I'd have to construct for posting Sun Sprain's pages coherently across platforms. Patreon, my home site, and dA allow for full view of pages, but Instagram requires a lot of tinkering. What you're looking at is a map of more or less every panel in the first chapter separated / moved around to match Instagram's formatting.
The dates at the bottom are the starting and finishing dates of daily chapter 1 posts. 19 days in a row of comic action!
The comic will be debuting between Dec. 21st and Jan. 8th. (Starting and finishing a day earlier for all of you though!)
The results are in! It was an 83% vote to have daily pages on Patreon before they go up on other socials. I'll share a collection of pages every day (between 3 and 5 probably depending on length/context) starting on December 20th!!!
I'll probably do them in the morning around 9 am, it looks like I can't schedule things on here so it'll probably be a little off. But it should be fine, even with the holidays.

Hey! Going back and forth between how the early read will go / how presenting chapter 1 will go. Last night I mentioned posting the entire thing to my site before social media, but today I'm thinking going back to my original plan of uploading a few pages worth of stuff daily till the whole chapter is out.
This poll concerns your exclusive early read, though. Two options.
OPTION A. Uploading all 70-ish pages of Chapter 1 as one Patreon post (to view all at one time before anyone else sees)
OR
OPTION B. Uploading a set of pages on Patreon 2 or 3 days prior to when they'll go up on Instagram / Deviantart (for more of a daily-page feel)
I'm happy with either option but just think of which you'd have more fun with viewing! :^] <3 Thanks for the help!
Hey everyone! Been a very busy month for me. I'm happy to announce that chapter 1 is nearly finished and will be all set for release on the 21st. After some re-writing it's looking like it'll be around 70 pages. I cut it down a little from my original concept, pushing some of the other bits to chapter 2 which will focus more on Beat and Brad together.
I hope you're all eager for an early read :^] I'm thinking of the best way to display it. PDF? Sta.sh? Right here on patreon dot gov? We'll see. The early read will be out on Tuesday December 20th. Mark yer calendars!!! I think on the 21st I'll upload the first chapter in its full form to my website instead of starting with social media. The format of the pages works best in a scroll-down mode, and I'll need lots of time to re-format the pages for Instagram, Deviantart to a lesser degree. The end of the year is gonna be quite sun sprainy.

Working traditionally just means finding out handy ways to speed up your process without sacrificing the desired look of a finished piece. I thought making a "keyframe" sketch would help me with three very similar panels of Brad. I sketched it, went over with colored pencil so I could see easier through my lightbox, and traced over. Next I'll give each one some detail. Made notes on a few for small digital tweaks (most of my traditional panels need a few small edits, even the tiniest mark can make a difference in expression and tone. When it comes to expressions/faces in my comics I'm a total perfectionist x_x
Been a tricky month in a lot of ways but the newest scene is 100% done. Just a few more scenes to go until chapter 1 is all drawn up! (Doodle by Vemrill / Frances Tsounis)
I'm thinking of doing the next scene with black colored pencil colored digitally. Much looser, but I need a break from the computer. We'll see how close I stick to that!

Never got around to finishing it, rip!!! u_u but in all this was super fun to work on, I think I logged 30 hours or something on it before stopping? Just thought I'd share it in its unfinished glory! Look how weird and different Beat and Brad look!! (just above and left of The Puptrip characters near the bottom)
Maybe someday I'll re-tackle this idea if I'm feelin crazy!
