Fresh from the Corp Academy "New Alexandria" Cary-June found her first employment at Plumbella where she met the MC.
As a child she suffered from a severe illness which she only survived because her parents did something that, even today, is forbidden and met with great rejection by the megacorps and the leftover governments. Luckily Cary-June survived but since then she always felt that her life wasn't complete anymore and the inner unrest drives her to search for it.
She takes an opportunity when it arises and sees things through as much as possible, if her inner unrest doesn't distract her. Other than that she is a very focused character and lives in the moment. Nobody knows what the future might bring.
Cary-June likes to enjoy real things.
Came from the Megacity Cascadia to start a new life after her former employer, Veedra-Thornton Plastix, was taken over by their direct competitor after the Corp wars.
Trish was a normal working bee in the corp and rarely strived for anything more, knowing that the corp would take care of her. That changed when she was among the first to get fired.
She discovered a whole new world out there in which she had to survive on her own. Changing her name from Valeria to Trish she thought it would refect her new self better.
Packing her things and some corp data left over in her personal data storage, she went to Arriaka. There she met Anthea Volaxis which she sold the corp data to. Making a bit of a profit Trish invested in some discreet cyberware for Infiltration tasks. Alongside a new second hand droid she took part in the VR fights in Anthea's Memphidrome.
Winning a two tournaments Trish decided that it was enough and retired as a fighter.
Trish is very goal oriented and likes to achieve them in a stealthy way. She has no problem to defend herself if the need arises though thanks to her experience and skillsoft upgrades.

Coming from the subnautical colony of Poseidonia, Keely is interested in everything on the topics of oceanology. Underwater animals, plants and environmental themes are her thing.
Keely is very adaptable in her endeavours pushed by her energetic and curious nature. She has a big knack for oldschool movies from the last century which makes her stand out in a time where everyone watches holomovies and 3D-Sims.
This little fish doesn't like to get pushed around and responds to kindness equally. Her first weeks were rough at Plumbella but she found a very understanding kind of mentorship in the MC ... and later on, his droid.
A polynesian-japanese survivor of the Ring of fire catastrophe in sector Pacifica. The volcanic chain reaction destroyed 60% of the asian east coast. She went to Arriaka and met Anthea Volaxis. At first she worked only as a bartender but soon managed to take over.
Asako is charitable and hardworking to build herself a safe future. When she isn't working on her formula for a selfmade new energy drink, she likes to go to the gym, and reading.
Geena and Asako are good friends. As opposites attract, where Geena is a sceptic she can be gullible at times. Her friend introduced her to Zandra for which she took a liking at first sight.

This petite fire comes from the Floodlands(commonly known as UK in the last century) She's an Ex-private cop, dismissed after discovering that her employer, Xenetik Inc, was polluting rivers with contaminated experimental genetic material.
Geena has an upright attitude but that leads to her overstretching her boundaries and getting her in trouble. As a sceptic, she doesn't believe in gossip, bro-science, people talks and such. And she can be very stubborn at times. She likes to bet on droid fights in Anthea Volaxis` Memphidrome. Goes to the gym with her friends Asako and Zandra but due to her duties she slacks a bit.
Currently, she found new work at the small and new Plumbella Corp. There she met Zandra Bellerose with which she has a bisexual relationship and together they work mostly night shifts.
A lover. Fighter. Bodyguard. This 6.4 feet giantess got all what it takes to clear off the table. Although she suffers from a heart condition, Zandra never takes a step back. Carpe diem and Keep it cool are the mottos she lives by the most. Took the chance to become a bodyguard for the main character when her girlfriend surprisingly suggested it. She has a deep situated love for sharing her experiences across the board as everyone around her can vouch for. Bottom line, she is good to have around when shit hits the fan and when it's time to relax.

Things are in motion, as ever. In regards to the upcoming steam release(If Cyberlinxxx doesn't get rejected that is) I was considering changing my username to something more professional sounding but after numerous tries it seems that a lot of names and or titles with Baka or Bara in it are already taken. And since I'm on different platforms and socmeds as well, not every one of them allows for an easy username change e.g reddit.
Maybe have to bite the bullet on that one and stick with "Baka plays", we'll see.
Haven't gotten far with the work on a trailer. Still learning how to do it. It shouldn't be that difficult because I did adult gaming videos a few years back but a trailer is very much different in terms of pacing and presentation. Watched some tutorials on it and I'm starting to appreciate a good trailer way more now. Not easy to make a trailer with only still images. Other devs have done it too, so the task is manageable.
So, how's v0.16 coming along you may ask?
Well, a bit slower than anticipated. I have started to rework renders from the beginning of Cyberlinxxx when it was called Softlinxxx. Oh, how times fly by.
The first third of the AVN's images look ... not good. I learned a lot since I began devloping and seeing these grainy images with wrong lighting makes me cringe. As you may remember, I wasn't sure if there should be a graphic overhaul. But Cyberlinxxx should be better and it can be not just for me to work with but for you, the player, as well.
If you see the AVN on steam it could look a bit different after v.016. and before v.017 drops.
What changes are planned? Change of Zandras+Geenas security clothes, the new Geena model, the new Trish model(she got a nosejob some time ago in case you didn't notice) new coherent clothes for MC when he's at plumbella, and maybe a complete change to Cary-June's model. She's a so called Genesis 3 character and I managed to convert her to Genesis 8 a few months back so she can profit from a better GoldenPalace version with more colour options on ... bodyparts, you know? And she gets to use every G8 asset without any problems. cary-June will look a bit different but still as sexy. Scout`s promise.

how are you doing?
A whole lot happened since the last update. I decided to release Cyberlinxxx on
STEAM if the reviewers give it a go. Will take some time because the process takes about a month as some guides suggest. I had enough time to gather infos about it and they require a lot of stuff. Dozens of screenshots in all kinds of sizes. A trailer, sourcing for music and sounds and I need a new STEAM account if I want to be a developer over there. And so much more ...
Don't know about Steam achievements because they annoy me but you may see that differently. In the end it's all about YOU and what you like. The ego has to take a step back in those matters.
Been watching tutorials on how to make trailers as well. And oh boy, that stuff could take long to finish. On top of other improvements I made in the last couple of months.
You probably noticed that when seing my published solo artworks here, on reddit or on twitter. I want to apply what i learned to the whole VN to give it a nice, good looking polish before it gets released on the biggest gaming platform.

Working on the holomission goes a little bit slower because of all that. Then again, the next release for space Corps XXX will take a bit anyway so I got some time to prepare for the big show.

As you may know, because I wrote about it two times, I'm working on a Holomission quest for a cross promo with RanliLabZ. And at first I told you that Cyberlinxxx v0.16 will be coming after that.
Some of you didn't find this delay very appealing and it's absolutely understandable.
BUT!!!
Sometimes good ideas come at the most unusual moments. When I took a shower, it came to me. A stand alone brain cell was activated by a creative neutrino hitting me at the right moment at the right time in space.
I CAN IMPLEMENT THE HOLOMISSION INTO CYBERLINXXX!
As of today v.016 will be consisting of the material. Some adjustments need to be made but that won't be a problem. (A lot of developer work actually consists of solution solving anyway)
So you can look forward to the release with a big portion of anticipation. How's that?

1. Just wanted to let you know that I started working on the upcoming new Holomission for RanliLabz SpaceCorps XXX.
As I posted some time earlier, there will be a cross promo with him and if you play his game, then you will get to experience a Holomission that will boost the science stat of the MC of Space Corps XXX. The protagonists first character to meet from Cyberlinxxx will be Keely. As a scientist in training she will make sure that MCs' head will be staying focused on the misses ...uhmmission, I wanted to type mission. Really.
And who will you get to meet after Keely`s done with you? Well, I can't spill the beans right now because -SPOILERS- right? But there will be two more from Megacity Arriaka.
2. I will change the way the rendering will be done. Until now the size was 4k and then downscaled to 1080p for each render. Thing is, 4k takes 3-4x more time to finish.
Now after DAZStudio made a lot of improvements in the last year, I can safely go down to render the images in 1080p without any significant loss in visual fidelity. And the images render way faster. Much more energy efficient. Such wow.
3. tbh I don't know how long it will take to complete the Holomission and thus can't give you an estimate when v0.16 will drop. The only thing for sure is that it will drop after the work is done for RanliLabz.

how are you doing?
lately I've been playing around with an idea. When I grew up there was this game and it was supercool atm and all of my friends were playing it. Since then, Cyberpunk was my gig.
Everything was drenched in chrome and electronics, the players were running the streets trying to survive while the megacorporations used them as expendable cannonfodder. I loved every bit of this game and so I want to pay a hommage to it.
If you choose the option you can play an episode, if you want to call it that, with this new branch. There will be two girls that will accompany you. And I'm thinking of Ceejay and Deanna because these two fit most into a description of someone that are capable enough to make it.
If you choose not to run along, I will try to give you at least some sort of other story progression with another girl ... or droid. Depends if her firmware installs fast enough :)

When you dive into Parasite Black you will be greeted by a wonderfully drawn artstyle, rich in colour and vibrance. On top of that, these beautiful drawings are animated in all the right places, if you know what I mean and in some more.
The characters are well developed, also in many ways, and are fun to read. The turn based combat is easy but engaging(click on the attack icons in the character popup for take an action)
The lore is extensive and you can get lost in the depth of this world. Which is pretty nice for an adult game and enriches the gameplay immensely. I had a good time engaging with all the characters and you will too.

I want to inform you about a small change regarding the tier 1 supporters.
From yesterday on I unpublished that tier. It won't be visible on the main page and it`s not possible to join that tier anymore.
What does that mean?
Everyone already in that tier will stay there, no one gets kicked out. You're still Supply chargers with access to your discord role and the connected channels. Nothing else changed for this tier.
If you want to upgrade to a higher tier you can do so anytime. But once you're out of tier 1 you won't be able to join that tier again.

- Been working on a new Bonus folder in case we can crack the 150 mark in the near future. Another jam packed file with a lots of Ooooohs and Aaaaahs will wait for everyone when the goal is reached.
- Got in contact with RanliLabZ, the main guy behind "SpaceCorps" and lostraven from "Parasite Black". There will be some cross promos coming.
Which, in Ranli´s case, means that I'll provide a whole holodeck mission for his game.
That could take a bit and we're working to release it in the foreseeable future. I hope you all will enjoy what we gonna throw at you.

Hey folks, how`s life?
You're probably wondering where the 0.15 release is and I have to tell you that it will be ready in 2-3 days depending on how much of RL is getting in the way. It has been quite distracting in the last few weeks among other new sites I signed up for and trying to expand my reach.
Apart from that I'm still converting my models over from DAZ to Blender with a mixed result. In 98% the transfer is going good and now the rig even works which means I can pose the models accurately in Blender. Problem is that they use quite a big amount of VRAM and I'm working to find a middle ground between visual quality and fitting them into the RAM of my graphics card.
A little example imagery:
Lighting works a bit different than in DAZ but I'm getting the hang of it pretty good.
(Background is an underlaying image and blurred)
Haven't found a fitting background for this one but as you may notice the lighting is very smooth in Blender. Also had to turn down some quality settings to fit Zandra in just one simple scene with nothing else it. It took 7.5 Gigs of RAM. But it rendered pretty fast jsut like the one with Cary-June roughly 40 seconds with the render engine Cycles. Eveee isn't really an option I realized bc the models look very cartoonish. Maybe the models need more tweaking in Evee.
Anyway considering the other times I made some good progress with conversion and really hope it works well with the rest of the girls. Wish me success.

Everything`s going fine. Although I had planned to make this release a bigger one, a lot of time was taken from me for IRL stuff happening. Had a lot of appointments and family gatherings. Thus this update will only have the regular 120-140 images in it.
BUT there's a hot scene in it, so don't miss out when it releases around the 10th to 12th of june, alright?

this is my continued attempt to transfer DAZ models into Blender 3.0. Instead of the DAZ to Blender bridge I used the diffeomorphic addon 1.6.2.
This image(with a simple light setup, no postwork) was rendered in cycles with 3000 iterations in 1.56 minutes. DAZ needed 5 minutes. 3 minutes faster doesn't sound much but when you render 100 or more images, that adds up massively.
In comparison Blender used only 2 Gigs of VRAM while DAZ needed 4,1 Gigs to render the image. That's a big big difference. Means I can push more stuff in a scene which is pretty nice.
Still need to figure out some things, like how to move the character and other stuff but this is good progress. I hope the g3 models that A-Z and Cary-June are based on can be easily transferred as well too.
The bodyshell was transferred only partially and I don't know how to control the emission on her belly piercing. But that can be dealt with in future rendering attempts. Blender is very different than DAZ, so there's still learning curve ahead of me.

Just a quick and dirty update so far.
As you may know I was working on the easter renders, then did some more for the marketing on the other socmed channels.
Came across some ren`py tutorials about how to transfer saves between different games, which I will be working on this weekend. Shouldn't be complicated, according to the tutorial, but depending on the choices time consuming. We'll see how it goes.

Rendering for v0.15 will start as soon as I get the ren`py stuff done. Had to made a new character, which you won't meet later in the game but was necessary for one scene in v.015 even though you won't see much of her.
