Changing Patreon Tiers

Hey everyone,

On April 9th, I will be changing my Patreon tiers. The rewards will still be the same, however, the subscription amount to each tier will be lower. The rewards for each tier will remain the SAME. 

The new subscription rates:

Hydrogen Tier: $1 (unchanged)

Carbon Tier: $3 (from $5)

Oxygen Tier: $5 (from $10)

One good thing, if there is one, about this quarantine is that I've been able to focus finish my content much faster now that I'm home from work.

Sick

I'm still in the process of filming my update video for you guys, but I've been sick with a really bad head cold for a week now. Hoping it'll be gone soon so I can actually talk audibly.

Also if I may, a quick pet peeve of mine, is people talking about tryptophan in turkey. The common line is, "Turkey makes you tired because it has tryptophan in it". Turkey isn't the only food with tryptophan in it...it's an amino acid, so its nearly in every protein we consume. News on the 2nd channel

Thank you all for voting in the poll on whether I should start a new channel or not for science experiments. I've taken your thoughts into considerations. I've been really thinking about this for a while.

Despite the majority of my patrons voting not to make a 2nd channel, I'm going to move forward and make it. I believe videos of conducting science experiments would clash too much with my educative/illustrative content on QFS. In addition, I'm concerned that the science experiment...

Poll: Should I make a 2nd channel?

I'm undecided. I want to start making videos on science experiments, like testing different anti-bacterial agents, hygiene theories, etc. 

I definitely will be doing this in the future, that's for certain. My indecision comes from whether I should make a 2nd channel exclusively for science experiments or if I should produce it on QFS. I'm unsure if the new experiment content would clash with my illustrative-education content.

Patreon Balance Sheet

So yesterday I as doing some illustrations and I managed to drop my Wacom stylus into a glass of water (RIP stylus).

Today I bought a new stylus, and as I was making the purchase, I remembered I set up a balance sheet for my Patreon so you guys could see where all the funds are going to. I couldn't attach the excel sheet because the .csv data I imported from Patreon wasn't compatible with Excel '07 (yes I use Excel '07...it was free).

Behind-the-Scenes & Bloopers

As much as I like doing skits, they're a ton of work. These shots took us over 5 hours to film in one day, and it was getting really stressful towards the end. I may cut back on doing skits in the future as they really are time consuming, but we'll see. We filmed all the shots at my university over the weekend, and went out for Chinese afterwards.
