Bringing back my takeaway mod!

Some of you may remember a takeaway mod I was working on - the cottage living update broke it... but seeing as EA have actually gone into adding more options I thought (with the lovely suggestion of a patron) that I would try my hand at it again! 

So here I am, working on grannies bakery delivery box where your sims can order cakes and sweet treats straight to their doorstep! I spent all day yesterday and today looking through the files to get everything to work and i'm pl...

pancake recipe ingredients

Just to give a visual to the poll that is currently taking place.

This is how the recipes will look. I am trying to use the available tags where possible, this should enable other modders ingredients to be used if they are tagged appropriately 🙂

I am keeping the prices inline with similar EA recipes and the ingredients are still optional unless you activate the lot trait, then you will need all of them. 

Ps. the pancake recipe is almost ready! Just a few more tweaks ...

Now that I have updated the olde cookbook I will be making my way through all of grannies recipes... but before I do I wanted to do a poll to see what everyone would prefer. 

If any of you have played with my olde cookbook kit you will be familiar with how the recipes work (semi-realistic ingredient amounts). So that leads me to the poll.

Update on Mods

Hi all! 

I just wanted to make a little post to let you know that I am currently working on making my foods compatible with the new lot trait that came with cottage living. (They still work at the moment, just without requiring ingredients)

🚨 Patch Incoming! 🚨

Just a heads up for the upcoming patch.

I can't say for sure what will happen with my cookbooks and recipes but i'm going to assume they will likely break with the patch.

So if you update straight away, make sure to remove mods from your folder!! 

I will make a post once I know the damage and keep you updated along the way.

Hi! 

I just wanted to make a little post to say I have added discord to each tier! 

Currently, it's only small and mainly for bug/issue reports but i'm still playing around with it and will hopefully expand and better organise it over time! 

You should automatically be added if your discord is linked with patreon. 😄

fruit & chocolate - wip

it took me a lot longer to adjust to working on a laptop verse a desktop but I'm finally back on board! (ish)

Here's a little wip I managed to rescue, fruit and chocolate pots! Your sim will eat them off a stick! 😄 little chocolate covered fruit kebabs!

It's nearly finished, I just wanted to make a cute chopping up chocolate prop before releasing!

Hello everyone! 

Sorry for being a little quiet, I have had some really bad pc troubles which resulted in me having to replace my computer 😔 I'm in the process of getting everything back up and running but unfortunately I have lost a few things. 

Luckily my big projects are backed up here on patreon as I managed to release them in time, so that's a relief! (I think I would have broken down if I had lost the old cookbook kit I had been working on!! 🙃)

roast turkey - medieval wip

sneaking in a turkey meal! 🦃 🍗

I'm aiming for final testing this Saturday so there's (hopefully) enough time to pick any issues up before the cookbook mod is officially released! 

There is so many more recipes I want to add but I would prefer the mod to be available before the new pack. I'm thinking there's going to be some new harvestables that would be perfect for new recipes! So expect plenty more to come in the future! 😄

Thought i'd give you a sneak peak at the little cover I made for the old cookbook! 

What do you think? I'm super excited for release.. aiming for no later than July 1st. I'm trying to squeeze in as much as possible and have it released so it times nicely for the new pack!

medieval salads - wip 🥗

The cookbook was missing some salads! I'll make a few variants and included them in the next testing stage. 

I'm hoping to be finishing up and finalising the old cookbook overhaul mod for the end of this month (I want to sneak in a few more recipes first).

Is there anything you'd like to see before release?  

I am planning on updating this with new recipes in the future, especially with the new ep coming out!! But I want a good variety to start with.

medieval cookbook - custom oven wip

I've changed the oven menu so that you can click on the oven and the cookbook pie menu will show instead of ea foods. As I know some players prefer to directly click on the oven  rather than another object. (you will still need to download the cookbook but you won't need to place it on your lot)

I've left the herbalism there as I think it's nice to have for this style of gameplay.

This won't override any other cc ovens or in game ovens (only the 2 that come with this medieval...
