Introducing the Canning Corner ~ this is sort of a 'home page' for my canning recipes.

Important Info:

The Canning Recipes are standalone but pair nicely with Grannies Cookbook recipes.

Here's that little sneaky peaky I promised.

Grannie was feeling very homestead-y.. There's some soup, some bread, some canning recipes.. but there's more!

• In total there's 7 canning recipes coming

• A sweet dessert

• Some more bread

• An update coming to some previous soup recipes to cook them on the stove

• Of course Grannies Cookbook...

Hi everyone!

Just a small post to say Happy Easter to you all and I hope you had a nice day eating Choccies, relaxing and doing whatever Easter activities you do ☺️

Did anyone do an egg hunt? I did a small one with choccie buttons for my daughter but I think I had more fun hiding those little pompom chicks around the house. I’ll be finding strays for the next few days now haha 😅

Unfortunately there won't be any Easter themed foods coming as the household has the flu, including myself so I've been very sluggish with progress and just taking things steady with ...

Just another sneak peak at the salt Grannie was preparing earlier ~ i'll be bringing this ingredient to the homemade ingredients mod (it was originally in my medieval cookbook but i'm giving it a makeover and popping it there instead to be used in canning as well!)

I'll be bringing a few other homemade ingredients over as well in preparation for my hunting & foraging mod remake. I'm looking forward to the future cross compatibility 😊

It may not seem like much but I have spent waaayy too long trying to figure out how to swap the wooden spoon out to a pestle without overriding it .. there's still a lot of testing to do but hopefully it will make it into the homestead helper for some upcoming ingredients/recipes! I'm crossing my fingers that i'll be able to make some other 'stubborn to make props' in the future but it definitely is not a breeze.. 😮‍💨
