Music for the videos video ...

I wanted to write a new song for the latest Todt video, and had been playing around with some chords on guitar for a while that I knew I wanted to use. But I also knew that I wanted a vocal melody and keyboard part that i'm unfortunately not skilled enough to make.

So I brought the idea to some talented friends and this was the result.

Hello my friends.
I wanted to check in and give you a quick update saying that I got around to making changes to the tiers. It works like this now.
Tier 1 - Predator commentaries
Tier 2 - True crime early access (and predator commentaries)
Tier 3 - Everything from Tier 1 + 2, plus extras (outtake videos, discussions, higher tier discord access, behind the scenes etc)

I actually don't think it's possible to private videos on Odysee, so that's something i'll keep looking into. If that isn't possible, I think any future Youtube rejections will be simply placed on a shared drive that we can all access.

Youtube update

Well, Youtube got back to me .. Sort of.
They sent me an update saying that the Lorne video that has been removed is indeed not a mistake, and it is not allowed on Youtube. But they also didn't provide a reason or answer any questions I had. I might still contact support but to be honest, at this rate, with all of the stories of the trouble other creators are having, I may leave it and move forward with another platform for any commentary videos that Youtube doesn't take.

It's sligh...

Hey everyone.
Quick heads up, Youtube removed this video, so this set of pages is no longer accessible for anyone. I've submitted an appeal asking what is going on, but I have no idea how long it'll be before I have an answer.

If anyone is up to that set of pages, or wants to rewatch them etc etc, let me know and i'll find another way to get that video to you. 

Renick case extras video (Judge cut)

Whipped up some clips of the judge in this trial. I found him to be very entertaining, a nice counter balance to the long days of heavy testimony. I thought i'd share some of his good energy with you all.

Thanks for being so patient everyone, what a beast this one turned into. Really keen to hear your thoughts on this one, I won't give anything away but I I had some strong feelings about it hey.
It's also the most confusing trial i've worked on as well, so let me know if anything doesn't make sense.  After spending 100+ hours with it, it's at times difficult to pinpoint what is and isn't clear.

P.S - if my voice sounds a little fun...

True Crime video updates

Ahoy my TC friends.

Quick update, I'm gonna release the James Whitaker video to the public (the wolves!) in about 10 minutes. It's been sitting in early access for ages and I haven't released to the public in a while, I wonder if the algorithm will be cruel or kind to me...
Either way, I wanted to give y'all an update on that.

Also, I've wrapped up work on the script for the Snake Breeder video, only problem I face now is I sound like I have a frog stuck in my throat. Fing...

I wanted to update you all on how i'm going with the latest crime video. A few days after the Sokol video wrapped up, I ended up fracturing one of my ribs. (fun I know)

I've mostly been moping around in bed but today's the first day i'm feeling up and mobile again. So work is commencing full steam ahead today.

Crime videos update

As you may have seen with the Sokol post, i'm going to buckle down and work on crime videos for the next few weeks, starting with the Snake Breeder murder. I'll let you know which cases I choose after that but I wanted to say thank you all for being patient whilst I worked on that commentary.  

I know some of you are only here for the crime videos and I appreciate you giving me the room to put so much effort into that video. I was not expecting it to blow out like that at all, hey...

I really appreciate how patient you've all been, Youtube took ages to give it the green light.
Because of the size of this project, I had some major technical issues going on when it came to exporting it, if you notice any problems (blank screens, audio cuts out) let me know and i'll re-upload a new version.

Sokol Update

The time is almost upon us!
I have to watch the video to make sure there's no technical errors, but I've hit one speed bump.
It's so long my computer ran out of space and won't render the files ha.

Transferring it to an external drive now and then I'll start watching it in about an hours time, when that's done.
I anticipate the video to be with y'all in about 6 hours.

Sokol Update

Hey hey

Thanks so much for everyone being so patient. The video is chugging along nicely but it is taking a long time! Most definitely the biggest project I've ever worked on. No cutting corners either haha
I'm estimating this thing might come in around the 2-3 hour mark, but there is a possibility it could even be 4.
Anyways, you can check the link sheet to see how the progress is going. I'm heading to bed now and will pick up work on it again tomorrow.

Hey hey, going to throw y'all a curve ball, the next video I'll be working on is actually MO v Lynlee Renick. The snake breeder murder trial.
I've had my eye on this one for a while and because it's a rather short trial I should be able to get it out and published relatively quickly, whilst working on the Sokol commentary.

After my workflow update post I had a few people express interest in the process of how I work on and make these videos.
I've gotten quite a lot of the first part of the Sokol script done so I'm thinking of whipping together a really quick run through of how the videos come together.
I'll get that done later tonight.

Quick Update

Hey hey, as you all may have seen with my previous post, the Sokol predatory commentary video is blowing out in size way more than I anticipated it would.

I wanted to check in with you all and let you know that I'm going to start the next true crime video at the start of next week for me and I'll work on them both to get a headstart on the next TC vid.
Just in case anyone was wondering whether it would be a long time before work on the next TC vid starts.

I've given up on trying to make this one succinct and am embracing the words, all of the words ...
I've done the chat log and the Hansen interview and am now about half way through the police interrogation, which is a bit of a monster coming in at 1 hour and 40 mins.
Let's see if we can crack 40k words before finalising the first draft.

The goal is to have the script at least done by the end of this weekend that way I can work alongside finalising it whilst picking up a True C...

Holy smokes ...  I wrapped up the Sokol chat log section of the script draft, and it came in at 16,628 words.
Generally, a long predator video in it's entirety, video section and all, comes in around 8-10k words.

The time has come

My friends ... by popular demand, I have decided to tackle, Sokol.
I'm unsure how long this one will take me as I believe there's quite a lot of material for this man but I'll give updates on how it's going.
I haven't watched this interview in many years and I've never gone near the chat log, from what I've heard though he's really quite pushy and manipulative. I'm keen to see what that log holds.
