It's been a few days since I updated last and I apologise for that. The sudden release of Prospekt required immediate work and more than one sleepless night...partially because of working on it, partially because of how bad the game is...

But anyway. All prepped and ready for me to edit.

If it's any consolation, the next episode shouldn't take me anywhere near as long as this one.

Patreon Page & PokéSins Ep40 Updates

Quite a grab bag of updates to report tonight. I'll get started with the most obvious.

I've updated to the new Patreon page format. I'm still not sold on it, but it'd be done automatically next month, so I thought I'd do it now. You can see the new top banner, but I've also made a few little tweaks to the information; mostly updating it.

I hadn't mentioned in the page description that the merch goal had been reached, so that's sorted. I've also removed any mention of the Dailymotion ...

PokéSins Ep40 Update - Audio Edited

This one took a while to edit the audio (just to clarify this is just my speech, not the final audio for the episode). I made a load of mistakes while saying it, but none interesting enough for a standalone outtake video. That and slight variations on emphasis to make the most of the words.

Also I mistakenly labelled one as a Minun instead of a Plusle...but I wasn't 100% sure it was supposed to be a Plusle when I recorded it. So I had to do two versions of the final score; one with it as a...

PokéSins Ep40 Update - Recorded

Ooh, this one took ages. Not the longest by any means.

Part of the recording process is reading the lines through a couple of times then doing the actual recording. This helps me catch any lines that don't roll right, any typos and even Minun that should be Plusles. Like one I may have found today. I've planned for it to be either way (with the final score) and I'll see what it should be tomorrow.

Challenge for you guys. Try saying 'Ash's shoes' clearly without pausing in between...

Took a while to record because I forgot to total the score before beginning, but it's good now. I'll be prepping it tomorrow and hopefully getting some of the editing done too.

The reason this is taking a while is it's a 'so much going on, little getting done' situation over at Gar1onriva HQ. When you have a lot of balls in the air, it can be tricky to focus on one and just get it done. Ever had that?

God, the holiday period is so hectic. Between family visits, family outings and general family festivities, I've barely had time to work, let alone game for fun.

My sincere apologies that this wasn't out yesterday. I was up until 5am working on it, but I still needed to watch through for sound quality and it's usually hard to be sure in the early hours as your ears get used to the quiet, making some things seem louder.
