Origami Blues - improv

another improvisation in the blade runner universe. I'm currently having a lot of fun just recording little pieces like this and uploading them to youtube. Maybe I'll make a tutorial out of it, but basically there's not much to tell.

I've had a few people ask me why I don't release on spotify or bandcamp. but somehow it feels wrong for a lot of the music I make. I like the relaxed ambience of youtube and that I can combine music and some visuals.

Street Lights - improv

I took my guitar preset and a few reverbs for a walk. Of course, everything sounds like Blade Runner again. Unfortunately it's not mixed at all, just recorded purely in obs while I tweaked the synths a bit.

Comb Guitar

This preset is based about my "Karplus Poly" video and tries to emulate a  real acoustic guitar with physicial modeling and impulse responses.

In the video I show how it sounds, how to tweak and with what devices to combine. I cant play guitar or keyboard well, so im sure you yield better results.

Markov Improv

I used the markov presets from earlier, 

• fed the output notes into a multi-note (minor chord)->note-wrap->keyfilter to generate some chords with the polysynth
• the bass note is on ch16 and is routed to another channel, where i send it via arp to my behringer crave for the bass
• playing improv notes on my korg monologue (thanks thomas 😍) in scale

Markov Chains in the Bitwig Grid

Thanks Boro for asking me this. At least it led to a nice video! In this patch you can decide based on probabilities what step to choose next. An the result is the new input step. A nice markov feedback loop for creating melodies or sequences.
