We use your financial support to fund several subscriptions which aren't solely used for the development of OAAB_Data. We also help provide unique textures, concepts, artwork, voices, etc for other Morrowind mods and modding events. These subscriptions currently add up to a monthly cost of 35 USD. Anything donated beyond that will open up consideration for more tools that we can use for mod development and ...

This release added a few new objects, but was largely a bug fix update we wanted to get out prior to the start of May Modathon Month 2024. One big change with this update is the elimination of the "Developer ESM" now that deprecated objects can be hidden automatically with CSSE.
I appreciate the generous donations by our suppor...

I realized that I forgot to post this update here. Thank you to all of our supporters!
This release was primarily going to be a big bug fix update, but then R-Zero tossed in a bunch of goodies, I merged in a few things, and we ended up with a good update on our hands!

As we continue to use Midjourney for OAAB_Data development (thanks to the generous patrons here!), I wanted to showcase how it can not only be used to generate images (like paintings) but it can create concepts and textures which can directly be used in asset development!
Here are a couple examples for assets that have been developed from AI concepts to AI textures. We're not using AI for 3D modeling yet, but that may be coming sooner than you'd think.

OAAB_Data 2.1.0 ended up being an enormous release. The Midjourney AI subscription continues to be a valuable tool for OAAB_Data development. These pictures highlight some of the ways AI-generated textures have been used to make new assets.
Vanilla-style silver texture, new mold cave textures, fireplace metal details, coins, mushrooms, meat and food textures, journal covers, galleon windows, glassware, scepter textures.
In the case of the scepters, Midjourney was even used to gene...

I'd like to take a moment to reflect that OAAB_Data will be 2 years old in November. Both the size of the team and the repository itself have grown substantially since the original release. I was originally planning to release the 2.0.0 update on the anniversary, but decided I wanted to get an update out before the Modding Madness event instead. I greatly appreciate all the positive support from the community. Developing OAAB_Data brings me joy by getting to see the creative things people do ...

We have a big release this month and a lot to cover! Everything from architecture, dungeon, clutter, creatures, items, and some extras. Not to mention a huge amount of optimizations and fixes all across the repository (big shout out to revenorror for a lot of that work). Hlaalu and Telvanni sets get a lot of attention this update but there's lots of other new things to get excited about so read on. I also want to highlight several new team members with this release! Axeljk, Corsair, Merlord, ...

This release brings a few new resources to the repository which you can read about below. Many of which were created by the highly prolific modder, Anroha, who has been on a modeling spree over the last few months. He recently joined the OAAB_Data team and has also been making major contributions to Tamriel_Data. Like the last release, 1.15.0 includes a lot of mesh clean up. And also like the last release, much of the cleanup is thanks to revenorror.

This is a relatively small release. I was going to hold off on pushing this update, but there were a number of bug fixes which built up that I don't want to wait on. In addition to the bug fixes, there are a few new additions which you can read about below. The other thing I wanted to highlight here is that revenorror (creator of AtlAd) has joined the team and he has already performed some extensive clean up on the meshes in OAAB_Data. Mostly things players won't notice, but all for the bette...

This update has a variety of new additions for modders with no particular theme. Lots of goodies for anyone making dwemer ruins including furniture and interactable objects. Interior designers will find more variety in furniture options with this release including a lot of new bedding options for beds. But in my opinion some of the most interesting additions are land dreugh and pomegranates! I strongly recommend that you check out the latest OAAB_Cells plugin with this release, specifically t...

Although a few days late, this was meant to be something of a Halloween Update. With corpses, bone piles, and weapon-wielding dwarven spectres, there are now more options to make your levels more macabre. Word of warning to anyone who doesn't want to see low poly depictions of dead bodies: go no further. But we didn't leave it at that, and there are a few other exciting additions this update.

If OAAB_Data releases were themed, this would be the Seaside Update. Between a new variety of fish, dock clutter, shipwreck assets, and a mudcrab shell, there are a lot of new seaside objects for modders to play with. But there are numerous additions alongside those including a number of new dwemer assets, sapling models for each region, and some Skyrim-inspired web bundles.

As usual, this release covers an assortment of different additions. The highlight is a brand new exterior/interior dwemer set. This post will detail some of the new additions. As usual, everything has been added to the OAAB_Cells.esp. Look for new assets and InfoBox markers there for additional details.
