I have to say, trying Joe's style is very humbling. His skills and absolute mastery of fundamental gesture and structure allow for very confident clean linework, but also very wavy and feminine. It's not something I can just replicate until my own fundamentals are improved to a much higher degree

SS design was the one I was least happy with of the Shadow Bolts. It just didnt' feel like it was representing her unique character well enough. But had an epiphany when seeing her among the references for Indigo Zap.
Divide her outfit in flowery sweetness and thorny danger. make her under part more soft and inviting, while a hard strong upperbody (Good for Archery that she does).
All in all I'm way happy with this

Some ideas just need to get out of my brain right away.
Am surprised how well this connects. Mystery Mints shredded clothing isn't due to her filling out (only), or that she thinks it's super stylish, but because she gets into so many scuffles with titty monsters she might as well accept the damages and save the money on new clothing
