Hey guys!
It's here, the first model for June! And a self chosen subject for that matter ;) It felt quite refreshing after all the models made for polls and prizes, even though I really enjoyed those as well. It's good to experiment with your own creativity ever now and then.
Anyway, meet the Green Sea Turtle Dragon! I was kind of in doubt whether I should have gone full dragon on him, but I thought it would be more interesting to keep a lot of realistic features. I wa...

Hey guys,
I decided (very last minute) that I wanted to participate in the Cults3D jewellery contest in order to try to win myself a resin printer. I designed two rings that represent the Good and Evil wolves from my favorite legend: Two Wolves! You can grab these rings for free over at my Cults page: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/jewelry/two-wolves-set-of-rings

Hey guys!
I started the new model this evening and since I'm already really enjoying the progress so far, I decided to let you in on it this early ;) Behold, the beginnings of the Green Sea Turtle Dragon!
Sea turtles got a special place in my heart ever since I had the opportunity to snorkel with them in the wild. And during one of my biology internships, I even got to witness a couple of them going to the beach to lay their eggs! Since the d&d version of the Drago...

You travel through the Deep Dark Woods. Sure, you could have taken the path around, but in this way you cut at least a couple of hours on your way back home. Suddenly a spiny shadowy figure draws your attention. Startled you turn, only to see a cherry blossom, vaguely human in shape. The branches kind of look like long fingers if you squint but it is the mask it has for a face, carved deep into the core of the tree, that makes you uneasy. Who would do that? And a Demon Mask nonetheless!

Hey guys!
Time to reveal a little bit of the next model! Remember the last poll? That's right, it's time for the first Treant: the Cherry Blossom.
I have to admit, I struggled quite a bit with how I wanted to tackle this one. I've been looking up a bunch of Treant depictions, but I found most of them too rigid and awkward (that or just pretty much bark skinned humans) and not at all like something that could blend into a forest, waiting for people to pass by. I wanted ...

Hey guys,
Time for a new model! A Ninja Three-Toed Sloth as requested by Sebastian. I had loads of fun with the design and had some initial doubts whether it would work with half the face covered, but the super furry arms and claws made up for that (and make him recognizable enough in my opinion?).
Finalizing him took a bit longer than usual as there were some issues with the mesh. I also learned to make more dramatic release images, can you tell? :')
As ...

Hey guys,
It's that time of the month again, here's a little preview for you! As you might recall, Sebastian won the right of a suggestion for the next model by entering the painting competition a month ago. He asked for a ninja opponent for the Samurai Rabbit And Serow Goat and listed a couple of potential animals that he thought would be fun. As soon as I set eyes on "sloth", I was hooked. I absolutely love sloths, and the idea of a ninja sloth, severely underestimated as it is ...

Hey guys, since it has been requested quite a few times and I'd love to get to work on a plant based creature for once, I've decided to work on a Treant this month. The thing is, I have a hard time picking a tree species that I like best, so it's up to you what you'd like to see! Here we go:

Hey guys,
Here he is, the Red Fox, the 2nd generic forest animal that I created following your choices from the poll. He can be used as animal familiar, companion or wild shape form and stands 30mm tall, though he can be easily rescaled. However, I wouldn't go lower than 20mm with a 0.2 mm nozzle ;) I'm going to ignore the fact that we reached yet another month, so this is still an April model.
You can download the STL files from the Model Links Masterpost, which is pi...

Hey peeps,
I got very close, but the release of the red fox has to wait until tomorrow, as I definitely need to grab some sleep right now. He is all posed, I just need to clean up some of the surface areas (they get twisted due to the posing ;) ) and prepare proper STL files. Thank you for your patience, I hope you like him!
Cheers,
Michelle

Hey everyone,
Here we go, the next model in line, the Red Fox (or Silver Fox, depending on what color you'd paint it), the generic forest animal that won the poll together with the Lynx (made last month). I'm working hard on getting it released on the 30th, so stay tuned ;)
Hope you are all okay!
Cheers,
Michelle

Hey guys,
At last, here's the model requested by Sabrina after she won the painting contest. She wanted me to make an animal form of her favorite Samurai, Zatoichi, a blind samurai masseur who relies on his other senses to fight in battle. She asked for a very characteristic pose of him holding his sword hidden in his walking cane, intently listening and alert to any threats. She chose a Japanese Serow Goat to represent him, as to the eye it looks very docile and harmless :)

Hey guys,
I hope you're all doing well! I figured it might be time to show you a little peek of what I'm currently working on. It's the 3D model won by Sabrina, who was generous enough to let me make the model available for the rest of my Patrons! As she really enjoyed the Samurai Rabbit that I released earlier, she requested an animal form inspired by Zatoichi. She chose a Japanese Serow Goat to represent him, which I think is a very fitting choice!
I still need to fi...

Hey guys!
My first painting contest has come to an end, and it's time to announce the winners! Winners, you might ask? Yes, seeing that there were two participants, I decided they both deserved something for their time and effort. So without further ado, let's head over to the results:
In second place: Sebastian with his version of the Musk Ox Minotaur, which he gave a solid paint job with wonderful transitions. Congratulations, Sebastian, you'll be in charge of choosi...

Hey guys,
It's still March in some parts of the world, so I'm going to count this as a March release ;)
Without further ado, here's the Eurasian Lynx model, which was one of the most requested animals from the poll! It can be used as either animal companion, familiar, wild shape or even encounter. It's 40mm tall (without base), but can be sized down to 30 for a 0.4 nozzle and to 20 with a 0.2 nozzle when printing in FDM.
You can download the STL files from ...

Hey guys,
I hope you're doing well! I wanted to cheer you up with a sneak peek of the next model: the Eurasian lynx, usuable as animal familiar, companion or wild shape form. I found there were very little lynx miniature models out there, so I decided to go with the lynx first instead of the fox.
Also, I'd like to remind you of the painting contest that's currently on-going in which you can win a custom-made 3d model. You've got until the 31st of March 23:59 CET an...

Hey guys,
Things changed rapidly over the last few days regarding the Coronavirus. My town is the place in the Netherlands that has the highest ratio of sick to healthy people, and the only nearby hospital has reached its full capacity. I thought I'd be super productive with this period of self-isolation, but I ofen find myself being too worried to work on things. I more or less had to force myself to finish the spider model to set my mind on something else, which worked pretty ni...

Hey guys!
First off, I hope you, your family and your friends are all in good health and I wish you all the best in these strange and concerning times. I myself live in a region of the Netherlands that's more or less the epicenter of the Corona outbreak for my country, and I expect measures of full lock down to be taken soon (tomorrow actually, but we'll see). For me personally, this won't change a whole lot of my routine since I'm used to working at home, but I can imagine there'...

Hey guys, I've got quite some requests for generic animals to be included as part of my Patreon alongside my usual "out of the box" models, since there's a need for encounters, wild shaped druid forms, companions and familiars. I didn't want to start off with too many choices, so here are the most popular ones. Pick the one you'd like to see first and other models will follow after ;) If you've got a certain need for another animal species to be included in the "generic animal poll" next time...

Hey guys!
I just started on the first model of the month, a Giant Jumping Spider! I got a couple of requests for random encounters and spiders were named several times. Since most of the spider miniatures out there are based on tarantula's and wolf spiders, I wanted to go with a different approach. I think all types of jumping spiders are super rad, so here you go!
I hope you like him so far ;)

And here he is, the Samurai Rabbit which was requested by Cody after he won the raffle! There's two versions of this guy, one with his ears tied together and one with his ears free. You can pick whichever you like best ;)
A huge thank you to Cody for being so kind to share this model with all the other Patrons. I know it's two days late, but it is still a February model and in my defense, February is too short of a month even with the extra day, haha. That mean...

Hey guys,
As you may remember, one of my Patrons, Cody, won the last raffle. He requested a Samurai Rabbit (inspired by Usagi Yojimbo) and decided the model could be shared with all the other Patrons. So that's what you're getting next (I'm working hard on it to get it released by tomorrow, but if it is there on Sunday it still counts as February, right? Right? I think it does.).
Anyway, I hope you like him! Have a nice weekend!

Annnnnddd, here is the final compilation of rendered pictures of the Peacockatrice, which is now available here on my Patreon! You can find the files in the previous post :)
Sorry for the spam everyone, I think I'll simply make one post which I will pin for my Patrons with all the download links instead of both releasing pictures and links separately. Seems to make the most sense to me to reduce double posts. But I'll figure something out. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this model! P...

Hey guys,
Here's a little preview of the Peacockatrice since he's almost ready to hit Patreon. I'm aiming to get him posed and cleaned up by tomorrow evening! I also wanted to mention that I added an STL of Archie the Tawny Frogmouth without either a base or tree trunk for everyone who'd like to print him directly on the shoulder of a playable character (or print him and glue him on later), as was requested by one of my Patrons, Justin.

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to show off the print of my friend's familiar, Archie, that I did yesterday. I swapped my 0.4 mm nozzle for a 0.2 earlier this week, and I'm pleasantly surprised by its performance so far! No clogging or other problems yet and the quality is superb. This print is only 22mm tall, with Archie being about 10 mm. If any of my Patrons with an FDM printer has been hesitating about a smaller nozzle, I'd say go for it, it's worth it when you print small ;) ...

Hey guys,
This one needs a little bit of explaining. One of my party members of our current d&d campaign got a familiar last session, and since I designed a miniature for the whole party already, I was bound to design her familiar as well. Meet Archie, the exasperated Tawny Frogmouth who is already 100% done with our idiotic party. He's that kind of wise guy who is too tired to deal with stuff (can you tell I tried to capture that mood?).
Anyway, my friend was generous e...

Anyway, what I did was list all the names of the participants in the random list generator to assign a randomized number to everyone. Once that was done, I simply let the random number generator decide. Wit...
