Trick Comes Home - first build download

IT'S HERE!!!! it's less-than-an-hour's worth of stuff, so maybe it doesn't feel like a lot... but most of what's there is finished, aside from the illustrations/face art. so even though i was hoping to get a little farther in the main story by today, it's enough to share for now!

dev diary: oops this chapter is too long

SO... i'm considering (publicly) releasing treat 8 in 2 parts.

half because i don't want to keep people waiting forever, and half because there's a really good place to cut off the story so people can have fun speculating while i make the rest :)

i'm hopefully making a build in 2 weeks so people can finally play this, but here's the theme song for krem!! there's a version of it in syrup 2 as well, but i had to rearrange this one to be a little more relaxed since you can walk around krem for a while... i might extend the syrup 2 one too since the original loop was pretty short...

dev diary: treat 8, part 1

i was saying i'd take it easy this month, but whenever i take too much time off i just end up feeling sad or lost instead... so i've been working on treat since i was feeling really motivated to make some chapter 8 progress!!!

my current plan is to try and finish the first chunk of the game by 5/23 (trick’s birthday!) and then share the WIP build with patrons. it'd be like 1/3 of the story, assuming i can finish everything i have planned, which is admittedly a lot...

Charm Studies - scripts + PSDs

so! i just did 2 month-long game jams in a row, which means i really gotta take it easy this month! i still need to share the psds+scripts for charm studies for higher tier patrons--those will be coming this week! but i don't think i have any other obligations this month aside from my weekly patreon posts (hi, this is one of those) and translation updates (many are in progress due to the new releases).

i might go back and add a bit more shading since these are EXTREMELY simple. i'm not sure yet, i like that the game's style is very simplified, i just can't decide if they look unfinished or not.
