dev diary: treat bug collection

i tested all the way through treat complete!! it currently takes 4-5 hours to get up to the point in the story that i have scripted, so i expect the full game to be like 6+ hours..... wow!!!!!! (i am begging people not to tell me it's too short, I'M BEGGING)

i ran into a bunch of bugs along the way (so my playthrough was pretty disjointed oops) so i saved some of the ones that made me laugh. pictured above: didn't rename the parallax bg from the second game, so part 1 used the wrong fil...

TREAT STUFF IS GOING WELL!!! as you can tell by the new title screen ;)

i finally finished reconnecting all the doors and paths, so now ALL THE GAMES ARE OFFICIALLY CONNECTED!!! you can play through the whole series (up to part 7 anyway)... woaahhh!!!!!! as of writing this, i have yet to run through it all, but i'm very excited to get to do that.

in the meantime, i started adding in some new content now that i can check for past events. for example, during part 3, moxie will react...

my current goal is to combine all of the games into one, with a chapter select at the beginning so you can jump right in to any part.  i've been planning on doing this from the beginning, but i was only going to combine them after all the games were finished... at this point though, it's been like 3 years since the last game came out, and people might want to replay them all anyway before jumping into part 7. this way will make ...

ok part of the reason i'm a little late is because i wanted to add an extra menu where you can change the default BGM ingame. i did that tonight! and it works! i'm thinking of making it so you can change the shop decorations/color too, but that will be for future updates... i've done enough for now... (i'm tired.....)

i actually animated everything in clip studio for this game, so it's kind of a bummer that the psds don't keep my little timeline. i cho...

i finally finished putting the art collection together...! it's 15 pages this time. sorry for the delay on that, i think it looks pretty nice though so i'm happy :)

the soundtrack is here too! only 5 songs... so small.... but i love every track. despite making music for years now, i still don't know why my mp3s are so quiet compared to other songs... so i apologize in advance... i'll replace the file if i figure out how to make them better ;_;

hey everyone! it's may, so i've switched over to monthly charges as planned.

this has been a long time coming, but BAD END THEATER is finally available on google play!

as far as i know, there isn't a way to give out free copies (at least not in the same way i can with steam/itchio), but you can still download the apk through itchio via this link. this is my first paid app so i don't know what i'm doing yet, hopefully things will go more smoothly in the future.
