Some shoots are much more fun than others. Exploring fetish imagery using a close-up ring light for a much more personal and close-in feel was a great experience. V's amazing outfit and makeup with the harsh lighting delivered an aesthetic even better than I could have imagined

After so many shoots, with always being the one behind the camera it was time to get uncomfortable and outside of my zone. Shooting without a screen to see what you are capturing and not being able to direct as usual was a very interesting experience

My first time shooting with Suki, an interesting model to work with due to her rather unique aesthetic. It was an easy shoot as she already has extensive experience in posing so suggestions were easily taken on board and adapted to. As with pretty much every model I work with, they have already worked with much better and more experienced photographers than me, which is a great part of the learning process

Everyone is drawn into existence, naked, vulnerable and covered in slime. We clamber and crawl around in the ignorance of our undeveloped knowledge desperately seeking to understand the world we live in at the mercy of our environment.
This was a hard shoot to make into a reality as it took many attempts and experiments to develop a slime that was the right consistency, had the required clarity, was body-safe and would survive repeated stretching and pulling.

More from an awesome first shoot with Misty, we were fortunate to get some intense sunlight just as we started our table poses. It really helped add some drama to the shapes and forms she was able to create as well as allowing the images to take on a much more separated look.
I was very impressed by how much vulnerability she was able to portray in her modelling, especially for a first time working together.
Working with Misty for the first time we were able to work through a bunch of shoot ideas, there are much more to come but these are a selection from our bodyscape section
Outside of the usual process of creating these kinds of shots we had to work around sensory issues associated with the texture and covering of skin. It took a little more work to make sure the situation was comfortable for Misty but once we had our set up in place we got some killer images, including some more foetal...

It was long overdue that I learned how to light and capture bodyscape images. Compared to standard images the edit process is so much easier to work with due to the amount of hidden detail. There is however much more that needs to be done in the preparation phase setting up the lights and background and waiting around for a model to oil themselves up
It was great fun to learn all about the style of photography and get a chance to learn

Throw back to the first shoot I ever did with the incredible vanda, where we played with the idea of sitting at home after a failed date eating and nibbling to get over the disappointment
Little did I expect though ( having never worked with her before ) to meet one of the most beautiful to photograph stomachs I have ever seen !

Can you believe that this was not only her first boudoir shoot but her first ever professional photoshoot full stop
after some warm up and chit chat we were able to produce some great images, which helped boost her confidence and see herself in a great new light
What better way to celebrate valentines day than to get the red rope out, trick her into the room with candy then cover her booty in all the love that it deserves ??
