Chocolate's Delicious Shenanigans

Sadly, there will be no comic page today, but here's something in return ;) While I couldn't put together another comic with Chocolate, I did manage to make a few sketches with her in the past few weeks. I know quite a few of you noticed how much migraine I had in the past few months. And while I'm prone to getting migraines, it's really getting too much lately. I also realised that I can't see as well with my old glasses as I did a year ago. It's nothing serious, but it's getting more and more frequent that it annoys me. So I will see (hehe) an optometrist tomorrow, and see (hehe) if I need new glasses. I don't know how much time it will take, so I have to delay the next Wish...

Guys, I'm truly sorry, but it seems I just can't get completely rid of my migraine... I won't be able to continue today's stream, and I don't think I can finish the next Wishes page for Monday. My eyes and my head are killing me. I'm honestly very angry and disappointed, because I know how much content was postponed or delayed this month. I hope next month will be different...

I guess I will still mess around with the colours, especially with the clothes. Of course, a lot of small things are still missing, and there's still a lot of fixing to be done, but I made good progress today :) And I'm seriously considering putting some extra work into this, to turn it into a proper 4k wallpaper... We'll see if I'll have time for that ;)

I've been re-designing these rarely seen characters, but instead of starting to make a reference sheet first, I tried to inspire myself with a more exciting and eventful image. When the characters are in certain situations, it not only helps a lot in creating designs, but their personalities too.

Some info about the coming week

Hey, guys! :) There will be some changes in the schedule for the next week, so I thought I'd write a few sentences about it.

For many reasons, I decided to take off the next week, so I'll be able to handle some real life things and get some rest too. So there won't be any new comic pages until October 20, when the next Tree of Life page will come.

I love pictures where small animals are portrayed as huge mounts, and I wanted to draw a picture like that too :D By the way, I just found out that the jumping mouse (or at least one kind of them) is called Jaculus Jaculus in Latin, and that sounded like a great name for a desert mouse clan :D
