And here it is, guys, the winner of the July exclusive sketch vote! To be honest, there wasn't really any competition this time, because this sketch immediately took the lead, and never slowed down :D But you have no idea how happy this winner makes me, because I really can't wait to start working on all these silly poses and faces :D

Because this is a huge picture with a lot of characters and details, it will take two months to finish. That means in August there won't be any sketches, ...

Mr Bunny

Evie puts her paws on every single animal that isn't fast enough to run away from her, much to Stella's delight :D

At first, I just wanted to draw Evie with a huge snail in her arms, but then I thought it would be even better if she wanted to keep it :D

Just Tristan

I just wanted to draw him, and no one stopped me :3 Originally, I wanted him to sit on a tree branch, but this version seemed a lot more fun :) As you can see, he'll be able to grab with his feet and even with his tail. From all of the Tree of Life characters, I think he's the most "animal like", mainly because of his feet and posture, but I never wanted to overdo it, and I can't wait to show this in the final comic :)

No comic page today, but as I promised, I'll reveal the secret of Babushka's magic potion!

Hey, guys! So... It seems this month is pretty hectic because of some real life stuff I won't be able to finish the next Wishes page on Monday. I wanted to tell you about this delay as soon as possible, because I can already see I won't have time to make it.

"Bloody Morning"

So Blake found out that I've been playing Songs of Conquest recently (and I love it so much :D), and wanted to see some of the Rana characters in my styles. I was really happy about this suggestion because they are my favourite race in the game (and I like frogs in general :D), but it was kinda hard to find some good references for them... It seems there are very few sprites online, but I hope this changes when the game gets more popular :)

Summer Snack

Here it is guys, this month's finished vote winner :)

I experimented a little bit with some new minor colouring techniques (like using more colours than I usually do, and trying to be more confident with them), and I even tried the colouring and shading without blurring some parts, and I think it turned out very nicely :)

This suggestion seemed so random at first, then it hit me :D Nora being into tamagotchi, taking care of her hoard of digital children is something that would have never crossed my mind, yet it fits her character so perfectly :) So I had a ton of fun working on this picture, and I think Nora just got richer with a brand new hobby ;)

"Jazz Night"

So Joseph asked for a picture with Jana'Rah, where she's an adult, and because I've wanted to make this picture for quite some time now, this was a great opportunity :) I think Jana playing saxophone in a moody jazz bar just seems very fitting for her personality ^^ And I could finally show how we imagined her adult clothes: a nice colourful dress (I know the sketch is monochrome, but believe me, her dress is very green :D), and with a nice black leather jacket. It seems like I've lost against the migraine once again... I had to delay the previous Tree of Life page, and now I have to do the same with today's Wishes page...
