WIP - 2019 ZD Pisces Progression

One from a while back, This one had a strange way of coloration. In my head it was going to turn out with a much stronger contrast and in the end it... didn't. It did turn out overall, but not quite what I was originally thinking.

So the next couple weeks are gonna be rough with a costume work I am doing that I just can't post up yet. I do have lots of Zodiac Dragons Sketches and other wip stuff to put here in the meantime. 

I am also pondering a future re-design of my lizard character. I just don't think everyone agreed with my initial design and I should make her more reptilian-like and less anime like. I dunno, what do you guys think?

Final Dragonfruit Costume Head

Finally it is done! Here are some of my last steps of this animatronic costume head. I have a hidden button under the dragonfruit seed on the cheek. It triggers the eye blink when it is not on auto.

WIP - Tranquility Commission

A very fun commission with Dexter the lion who is under the sea meditating. I instantly knew the pose I wanted to do for this artwork and came up with two similar views for it. The color mock up is included before I refined it.

Finally getting back to this one. The eye mechanism works now and I finished up the foam parts. Now I must coat and color!

WIP - Fursuit Head Otter 3

First time i'm trying this technique with making a pattern for fur. Using a type of masking tape! It did come out much, much better and more accurate!

Early Viewing - New Enamel Pins soon to come

Here's some pictures I just got in of the MLEM enamel pin designs that I will be getting soon. (Along with the ramen dragon pins which I haven't seen yet.) When will these be in store? I'm hoping next month. I think they came out fantastic so far! MLEM!

WIP - Fursuit Head Otter 2

Second progress of this. I got some assembly going on of the 3d resin head and priming and airbrushing! tested out a new way to make tongues. Used light air clay and creature cast coat :)

WIP - 3D Chipo Head

While Dragonfruit head is on hold for minor fixing, this is my last commission head of the year unless I can work through two major projects faster >_>;

This one featuring Chipo the otter! His muzzle is quite thick and is a challenge to 3D print at the moment due to size restraints on my build plate. But hopefully later this year that will be fixed with a different printer.

WIP - Ramen Dragon Pin Design

Hey guys! Here is this weeks update. I've been doing some new enamel pin design along with a new lanyard! The little ramen dragons artwork was so popular that designing pins to the series is the next set of cuteness! I have them in production at the moment and should be ready in a few weeks. I'll keep you all up to date on it!

WIP Emotes - Something different!

I've been on many projects this month and here is one of which was very different for me. I was revamping my emotes along my streaming sites and such and here's the WIP that goes behind them. As simple as they are, it was hard to get a style I liked!

Experimental Art - WIP

Something I have wanted to tinker with for awhile since I feel it necessary. And above all, humanoid. Why not start practicing with my own characters first? I like adding human/creature features to them. Keeping the legs human since I wanted to lean more toward that and not give them digitigrade. I did play with scale a lot. But they're alien so it works for me.

A thing I really didn't want to hear about my humanoid style is "They look like _______ from a anime or something." I AM ...

Final Bastet Costume

This is the final pack of this cat! I forgot to show you guys the process behind the making of the paws. Paws are actually a lot of work! They have tiny little details like claws and pads and small cuts to fabric. 

I shipped the costume off yesterday... I hope it gets to the buyer safely and they can get me action shots of the costume!

Bastet Fursuit WIP 5

Alright guys. This is the last one before I finish her up. It has been a lot of work. I am OK with how she came out so far. Considering this was my first faux fur suit for someone. Next time I'll have the head up and the ankle things ready for a final photo. 

Back to art for me after than and more naughty art to look forward to!

First time i'm getting into trying this body sculpting out. The foam is a semi challenge to get right. Will be nice to see the final of this when I get there!

WIP - Ramen Noodle Dragons

It's time for a cute artwork of the dragon whelps series.... noodle dragons!

I'll have to get back to painting this one after a few things but the colors of these little guys are very cute :)

Enchanted Dragon Fruit WIP - Part 3

Finally this is looking like a dragon! The horns are attached with super strong magnets that are padded into the horn base. the white part is a epoxy dough that is light but helps me make parts that are hard to curve with the foam. Also it seals a lot of the cracks. I took this one outside for a bit to work on larger glue-sprayed parts I didn't wanna do in the house.

Enchanted Dragon Fruit WIP - Part 2

So here we are with this head. the mechanical parts are still being worked out and the eyelids have to be remodeled in zbrush. The muzzle is long so to cut down on the weight I didn't print a resin tongue. Instead I made one in EVA foam and coated it in creature cast and leather acrylic paint. The middle row of pictures features the tongue in the mouth.

This head is layered in EVA foam with 3M Foam glue. I tried contact cement and the smell just makes me really sick.
