HUGE art drop: 9 new paintings

Hello friends,

Remember how I told you I was working on my calendar paintings? Well, here they are! I might leave them over the weekend, come back with fresh eyes on Monday and make a few tweaks, but they're 99.99% done! It has been a sprint these past few weeks, but I'm incredibly proud that I pulled it off. It's becoming a theme, me rushing to finish my calendar every year.

Hello friends, I hope life is treating you well!

I can't believe it's already the end of August. Summer is still going strong here, and today especially, leaving the house feels like walking straight into an oven. So I've been taking thing slowly these past few weeks, working at my own pace and in secret, because it's just easier for me to focus that way. Remember when I talked about my driving test? Well, I didn't pass. I didn't do terribly, survived the autobahn, didn't miss any traffic lights or stop signs or anything. But apparently, I couldn't maintain my speed, and kept accelerating and slowing down all the time, which interrupted traffic flow. The report I got is actually a bit funny because it has a big red dot next to "driving straight". :'D

Life Lately

Hello friends!

This summer, I don't have any big trips planned; I'm just going to stay here, and enjoy my little garden. Maybe some weekend trips here and there, but that's about it. Moody Hydrangea Painting

Hello friends, I hope you've had a good weekend!

I'm going to leave this painting with you. I recently finished it after abandoning it for months and months. Back then, I just couldn't get the face to work. But after taking another stab at it, I'm finally ok with the result. And since I just planted a blue hydrangea in my own garden, and it's been raining for weeks, this painting seems like the perfect fit.
