Today is Lazuli's birthday so we thought it would be a good idea to release an episode related to Sweet Paradise!

Lazuli's magical seeds make an appearance for the first time this episode and it was interesting to translate the whole thing.

Sneak Peek - Episode 203

Surprise! Wasn't expecting a sneak peek so early? 

Well, we were quite excited to get on with the final stretch of episodes so we just went on with it!

This episode is fairly good, although the plot features a few out-of-character interactions that were kinda strange to see, Sweet Paradise has a lot to offer and many mysteries that were never developed in depth, which is a shame.

Sugar Bunnies - 1-4

Hello everyone!

We're super excited to release this! And we hope you are excited to watch it!

Sugar Bunnies is a Sanrio franchise that preceeds Jewelpet and was born while Hamtaro was airing, although the anime started the year after Hamtaro's last episode.

It's a relatively short series extending itself over 3 seasons of 27 episodes each (the last season only has 26 episodes actually) but each episode has a length of 7-8 minutes.

Sneak Peek - Episode 225

And this is the last episode of August's batch!

This episode, which we were quite excited to work on, has been a real pain to work with. The amount of Howdy puns and difficult wording and hard to hear audio on this episode is astonishing. 

However, the plot itself is rather funny and we had a few good laughs, so all is worth it!

Sneak Peek - Episode 290

Technically this should've been this month's last episode, but since it's a Skyham episode (as well as a chicken episode... there's just too many of those!) we decided to work on it sooner.

This episode was a breeze to work with, the only good thing about chicken episodes is that a lot of time it's just animal noises so it's easy!

It is also a direct continuation of the episode we revamped earlier this month, so we hope you enjoy Skyham's hero shenanigans soon!

Sneak Peek - Episode 201

This is the first episode we will be working on during August!

We are quite surprised that this episode was left unsubbed for so long, but it is understandable since a bunch of sentences are kind of hard to pick up.

This is the first introduction to Lazuli's magical seeds, which appear a bunch of times in later episodes, so it's interesting to finally know where they come from.

Mole is an interesting character, with some speech quirks and an overall attitude that made him a favorite of plenty, so we're sorry that this episode took so long to be subbed!

Episode 179 - Run, Pepper!

Yet another episode for today!

This is a bittersweet episode, because although it shows how deep in love Oxnard and Pepper are, it ultimately fails to deliver a scene that makes the whole plot worth.

Nonetheless, it's a wonderful episode and we hope you enjoy it!

Episode 295 - I love you, Brandy!

The next to last episode of the series is finally done!

This episode has an interesting theme where the characters are slowly maturing and evolving: Brandy, who usually only lazes around, is learning to compete with other dogs; Laura, who is usually always so dull and lacks initiative spends most of the day angry or showing her feelings; the dynamic between Laura and Roberto moves another step up, and even the Ham-Hams improve on their strategies trying to help others.

Episode 200 - Bear in Trouble

Another easy to sub episode! 

This episode was fairly fun and could've worked as a sidequest of Ham-Hams Unite to be honest, we really like the script for this one.

Kumajiro causes some mischief, but his lack of vocalization made it easy on us, so all is forgiven.

Hamtaro met Kumajiro on a previous episode, can you remember which one?

Episode 157 - Danger! Chicken Trio!

This episode focus a lot on human interaction but since the chickens don't speak, it was fairly easy to sub.

This was, back in the day, the "earliest" episode left to sub, not that it makes much sense to mention that right now hehe

This is the first episode we will be releasing for Hamtaro and Cappy's birthday, but more are coming fast!

This is an hilarious episode that we love a lot, featuring the Hambini. There are a bunch of Howdy and Okini jokes that made it a little troublesome but we're quite happy with the result.

Sneak Peek - Episode 164

This is the first... or last... episode we have to work on July's batch.

André had a misunderstanding with Prayash, who said that they wouldn't be working on that episode for the month, and just got to work on it a few days ago.

Half-Year Report 2021

Hey there! As usual, we will proceed with our half-year report. This year is very special for us, as we are aiming to complete one of our milestones as a fansub!

Episode 184 - I'm Dad, Hambini!

This episode was fairly cute, and also quite interesting to sub.

The Hambini, luckily, are really easy to translate characters, but for this episode we had to make some research on Japan's prefectures and also deal with a lot of Howdy jokes, which made it fun... and not because of the jokes themselves!

Episode 182 - Happy Ook-Ook!

This episode was quite fun and easy to translate, thanks to Ook-Ook lack of speech and Buster's fairly short vocabulary.

The human on this episode was a bit more annoying to translate, but we think we did a great job.

The episode itself is not too exciting, but enjoyable!

Sneak Peek - Episode 291

And this is the third and last episode for this month!

Funny enough, it is also a Mole episode, although he shares the spotlight with Robo-Joe and another one of his cool features.

This episode is already translated completely, and it was a fun ride! Even though it is not as interesting as the first Mole episode and the plot is a little lacking, we think it will make you laugh a lot.

Robo-Joe's lack of speech and Mole's speech quirks were a nice help to get this episode done...

Sneak Peek - Episode 270

This is the second episode of June's batch.

This episode presents a new character, Mole, who randomly talks english words mixed on his speech. He has a vocabulary that usually involves "digging" puns, so it's a little tricky to translate into english but we're doing our best.

Funny enough, this episode has a tendency to repeat sentences a lot (if Mole says something, the Ham-Hams repeat it right away) which can be explained either by lazy scripting or by the producers feeling that...

Sneak Peek - Episode 179

This is the first episode from June's poll, and it's a really good one!

Pepper episodes are usually a little tricky given the way Pepper talks, but this one has her show up relatively little compared to other characters and so it wasn't that complicated.

Overall, it's a really good episode, and we had a lot of fun subbing it. It throws at the viewer a good look at how much do Pepper and Oxnard loves each other, which is probably one of the reasons they chose to make the final epis...
