Sketched around and let the ideas flow. This is when I look at my list of ideas which is about 90 ideas long, since I write down everything immediately, no matter how bad the idea. I'll then take some of them, combine them, cut them down, just let myself flow into this state that I usually only get while listening to some fantasy setting music that transports me elsewhere.

The White Tower of Eldoras

Hi everyone! 

Here it is! The "White Tower of Eldoras" is finally finished. This piece was done surprisingly fast, I only had around 8 hours from start to finish! 🌱

The glow from the tower was something that came to me last minute - I should make more use of these kind of ethereal effects. 🤔

First of all, let me thank you for another month of support! It is also so kind of you that you just made this transition to the one tier with me. Really makes me be thankful of the kind of art that I do, because this kind of art attracts almost only the most kind people to it. 

Today I'm coming forth with the lineart for this. I realized way too late (only when flipping the canvas) that my tower wasn't straight :D

Hi everyone! Fell deep into a Lord of the Rings lore loophole, so I felt inspired to draw something that will be white architecture in nature. 

As you can see, I decided for a tower again, with the red circles letting me remember where I'm going to put small settlements or just small singular buildings - for example the one on the cliff of the lower left.

I don't think any of my art pieces have played that much with size relations before, I hope it will turn out well! The set...

Early Access and reminder

This is a piece that felt so technical in nature that I almost completely forgot about the story or where it's set. Sky City Quarters Lineart and lighting

Hi everyone! 

Thank you so much for joining the 2€ Tier! Here's a new one, and a different process along with it! It has been way too long since I started to plan the lighting first and then do the colours after this. I usually do everything else first, lighting last since I enjoy it the most. New Sketch!

Hi everyone! Here we go, I always wanted to do some interiors, but never went for it. This is a mix between open space and the world inside an Argentian house.

It is so hard to think of things to fill in the interior while sketching, so I just wrote down without looking at the canvas what I'd like to see in a room. It worked perfectly, somehow there are way more ideas coming in when I'm not concerned with composition and similar things at the same time.

Finished artwork - Druid Island

Hi everyone! Finished a new piece where some of the druids of Argenta gather every new moon. This island not as secluded as one thinks, as druids are largely known and accepted, sometimes even revered on the Argentian islands.

They still need their own place to gather though, since a cityhall just doesn't do them justice.

Lineart for my next piece

So this is the lineart for the next piece. It started out with the idea of drawing "Avalon", but I'm not sure yet if I want to take it there. The lighting will be a challenge, but also an opportunity to play around a lot since everything is so centered. Full drawing of "Solitude"

Hello everyone! Here is the full drawing! One of the many shepherds of Argenta. He's wearing his family sword and stone - a typical sight on young people on the biggest island of Argenta.

Shepherd

Here we have him! This shepherd protects the sheep that produce the wool for a highly respected and rich family in one of the Sky Cities of Argenta. 

He has his stave, his sword and some small magic tricks up his sleeve, and lives a content life, mostly out on his own. 

Once or twice a week he'll show up in the near town to buy and sell his things and talk to people, sometimes he visits the nearby university to lend a book, where he is always gladly taken in.

Moving

Hi! I just wanted to tell you that we'll move this week and the next, so I'll still be drawing, but will be pushing out artworks at a slower pace for these 2 weeks. I'm currently in the lineart phase of the next "Shepherd" piece, but only get to draw like 20-30 minutes a day.
Really looking forward to my new home though, and I will finally have a dedicated place to draw on my own. No distractions, no PC in front of me, just doing art.

Royal Academy of Magic Research Tower

Hello there! 

This is one of many research centres spread all over all regions of Argenta. It belongs to the Royal Academy of Magic, this one is used to study the magic streams flowing through the western mountains that have been very active since the dwarfs have dug up the entrance to an ancient cave here. The main tower is used for research, while the mages live in the smaller towers. Research teams mostly consist of 4-7 mages, and usually have one master mage with them.

Sometimes there are artefacts found in Argenta that seem to relate to traveling the stars. These relics have mostly been forgotten, and can mostly be found in long forgotten places like this one.

As you can probably easily see I didn't make a full illustration, and I kind of love doing this.

The castles of the western islands have always been built into the heights of the skies. As trade flourished, they have grown higher and higher.

Absolutely loved working on this, it has also been the first time to have done this kind of weather.

Life Update

Hi everyone! Just wanted to keep you updated - I'm currently mostly drawing commissions. 

I'm moving in together with my gf tomorrow, and starting a new job (my first internship after uni) next Monday. Basically, a lot of things will change in my life from now on, but art will stay, and I'm looking forward to having that balance from the fast-paced life.

I'm really excited (and a bit scared which is a healthy thing) about this.

Hi! Finished my drawing of the town I fell in love with while playing Drakensang, I just LOVED the step in the process where I put in the lighting in one last step.
