Holy shit does the time fly.

As EC III-IV is still incomplete, the least I can do is to show some of my less filtered efforts. One might call them "sketches". I am not planning a bigger future for them, so feel free to make your own stories of these unfortunate souls, while I try to figure out a way to make this month less dry content-wise.

Work.

TWM: Inga will premiere on the 31st, as I promised.

It possesses less content than I hoped, because last two weeks were insanely busy, and I just had to make the EC III-IV contain the highest amount of characters ever. Right now, I'm switching to finishing that.

After that, the fabled TWM-EC "coexistence" begins. I am hopeful that it does fulfill its purpose in allowing me to create consistently, even if I don't have as much free time as I used to.

Endlessly...

I'm adding some amount of text every day now. With existing amount of table-setting, there's enough ending potential, so I've switched to working on them one at a time. I hope I'll have a decent amount to show by the 31st.

In other news, some effort has spilled, and the story of EC III-IV is somehow complete. It's a fulfillment of one of the core concepts for the season, so no scrapping this one.

It took a while to reinvent in-text if-statements, but TWM: Inga is taking shape at an increasing pace. Two early endings are already complete, and I'm quite happy with them. The work continues. Another progress update possible within 3-4 days.

Most likely, I will release the entire thing on January 30 or 31. It's definitely not going to be 100% final by then, if such a state is even possible for a TWM story, but should already be a serious chunk of content. Would be nice to complete an...

There was something off with Lucy, the new intern at the lab. Don’t get me wrong, there’s no normal people at our big facility, but there was some other vibe on top of that. I always feel very cringe in these situations. No, I can't make another EC episode and a TWM update until the end of this day. It's not possible. It was not possible before, either. What in the world made me promise that in the first place? There has been a whoopsie, and you have my apologies.

Slow update.

I am as free as can be in the next few days, and it should result in me finishing EC III-III inside next 24 hours. I know I'm not the most reliable planner, but keeping up with the plan is still not only enitrely possible, but very desired by me.

Unexpected stuff happens every now and then, which is why I usually try to hold myself back on hyping on something I haven't completed already, but it's probably better than keeping you uninformed.

EC III-II is almost done, just need some adjustments to the story part. I'll have a lot more free time in the second half of the month and afterwards, so my plans for the remainder of the year include AT LEAST two more EC episodes and a TWM: Inga update.

The White Mall: Inga

During season II, I used the name Inga twice. I liked it a lot. Both episodes involving the name ended up scrapped. Now I found where to put it.

The character difference between Jen and Inga is that the latter is a lot less stable to begin with, and the first few chapters are designed to define her psychological portrait instead of her first item to wear. This allows her do develop certain obsessions that could match her future findings, opening up secret endings (I am planning to hide ...

III-I: House of Marble EXTENDED

Trish entered the house as a regular delivery courier, eager to drop off a single french fry for the weirdo who paid an extra hundred in tips. The façade was only mildly fancy, but the inner surroundings were dazzling her with each open-wide room passed on her way to the cabinet on the second floor with, as it was described, “only” a 9-foot door.

I'm not going to elaborate on what I've been through in this meantime, that would still be out of character for me. 

Instead, I'll say that the next immediate thing is the new The White Mall story teaser with first details, then EC III-II with a little less ambition and a lot more shine.

Without unnecessary details, I'll say that I have a little less free time than before these days. Notwithstanding the foregoing, EC III-I's story is almost finished, and I'm hopeful that there will be more to show over the course of next week.

Concept list, part 4

Hello there. Here comes the Pre-Season 3 edition of listing of my concepts. First, let's gloss over some of those unfulfilled from previous concept lists and see what they are turning into so far:

In the middle of it.

It was a busy week for me, but 10 out of 11 existing episodes are readied and scheduled for upload on DA, so they will be on time no matter what, which is a considerably smoother road compared to Season I.

Episode 12 is also in the middle of production, so things are looking good and upwards, I guess.

II-XI: The Rubber Whirlpool

Season II premieres on Deviantart on October 24th, 18:00 UTC, and will release one episode per day at the same time.

II-X: Short-sighted

Season II starts going live on DA between 20th and 25th October and will consist of 12 to 13 episodes in total. Next time, I'll probably have the exact day for you.

II-IX: A Royal Entwinement

The season releases on DA this month, preferably not in the very end (the precise date will arrive one or two posts later). Unless I will be struck by a vision how to combine the current format and the branching story of the White Mall in a brand new branch, I will start working on Season III immediately.

Concept list, part 3

It's been a while since the last one. Therefore, I came up with not eight, but ten concepts:

• Problem solving — She accidentally activates ballet boots and then activates a Flysuit to fix the trouble with walking. Silly she. Presumably will be fulfilled near the end of Season II.

II-VII: What's This About?

The base setting of the two seasons has been generally unchanged. I think it is safe to assume there will be more people per drawing and there will be more alterations to how Enchanted Clothing will function. Also, there will be more malice.

II-VI: Conforming To Herself

Pretty satisfied with this one. Massively overthunken, but also the first episode with a before -> after.

Last time I fell into a similar state of mind, I spent nine days on the thing, reworked it for DA anyway later and still never liked it in the end, so yeah, could be worse. My comfort pacing is my comfort pacing, but boy, do I feel guilty when episodes take more time than I want them to...

II-V: On The Fly

The concept of making the text segment like "it's just all the messages that she sent" has been around for a while, i think it went okay.

I mentioned a dedicated crotch opening in the story and decided against drawing it. I don't have a special taboo against genitals, but I wasn't comfy enough at the time. Will try that again later. Felt the need to explain myself, because drawing the hole was...

II-IV: The Cups

II-III: No One Can Know

Some backgrounding is in order for the DA release, but I really wanted to be done with this one for now. Don't get me wrong, I had great fun, but this was one of the "I gotta do this one right" episodes that took more time. I definitely have some catching up to do.

II-II: Check Out Anytime You Like

Well, that wasn't very quick. Onto the next one.

II-I: Not the Brightest

First of the new season. I'm expecting this one to be longer than Season I, but can't quite say by how many episodes. Actually, I know very little about the contents of each next episode ahead of time, which is good. Even I'm not immune to spoilers.

TWM update.

Found myself in the right state to finally go through with the most troublesome concept within the big story (in enchanted slippers -> shackles - > belt branch) of the past months.

Nearest future TWM chapters will be a lot more lightweight, spontanteous, even. Now the primary (not exclusive, but still primary) focus shifts back onto Enchanted Clothing series. Expect a lot more post activity this month.
