Thanks everyone who came along to watch The Last Post live (which will be this month’s episode of The Last Post). It’s always quite fun setting your alarm for 3.30am to prep for a morning show (call time was 4:30, but I wanted to wake up fully, and there’s nothing worse than having to juggle two guests and an alternate universe when you’re still groggy).

Hallo!

This week’s Tea With Alice Salon 18

Hallo lovely people, I’m in Melbourne!

I made it in, and now I have a show that I’m building.

The salon this week is in U.K. time, 8pm Tuesday 5am Wednesday my time, (rather than 7am, which is what it was before, thanks daylight savings. I may in the future have to recalibrate the timezones, because the shift in relative clock time has made this suddenly more difficult). Next month’s U.K. timezone salon might welllll be a little later at night for you guys...

DRAMA! MICF! TRAVEL!

What a week of drama and Sisyphean admin. I’ll try to describe it in a way that is less boring and stressful than it was in real life, and get you up to date.

First! I’m still doing MICF! Apart from tonight’s show, the opening preview, where I will be in self isolation waiting for a third negative covid test to confirm that I definitely don’t have covid, which I definitely don’t.

Today I sat down and had a look at my notes for CHRONOS, which I’m going to have to get into shape for MICF.

It’s funny thinking that I wrote this show more than a year ago, and having only performed it once, am to revive or rewrite it with another year under my belt. First of the month

So we’re back in March. That means in a week it’ll be a year since I packed for six weeks and left my flat in London.
