Update #26 (& Demo 1.1 Release!)

This past week has been filled with Demo 1.1 patchwork and team expansion. So let's get into it!

Firstly, we have our Demo 1.1 patch release and a few important updates with the planned steam distribution. Unfortunately with the amount of people here, it's simply not possible to move forward with a steam-centered approach for the demo :/ Thankfully though, to counter this, we've been able to massively reduce the size of Demo 1.1 from a whooping 85GB down to a quite manageable 20.5GB! ...

Demo 1.0 Fix and Patch Update

Hey Everyone! 

I'm happy to say download restrictions for Demo 1.0 have finally been resolved! (See the bottom of the release post for some more detailed instructions on how to get the Demo up and running)

Demo 1.0 Release!

**With Demo 1.0 being the first of its kind, we're expecting quite a few initial bugs. Therefore, to stay on top of any potentially game-breaking bugs we are planning the release of Demo 1.1 (the first patch) in exactly 48 hours! (11/1 @ 10:00 PM PST)**

Demo 1.0 24h Delay

Dev Update:

Hi Everyone! Unfortunately due to a Demo 1.0 puzzle bug that has slipped past our filter the past few days and has just been spotted today, we will be pushing the Demo 1.0 release back to tomorrow. I as the dev (Sven) Apologize for the slight delay.

Mechanics Poll #2 (Crouch vs AutoCrouch)

We've been quite split on the concept of Crouching for a while... 

Some of us think a deticated Crouch button would make for some interesting and fun gameplay and also be quite straight forward... While the other side us thinks we should avoid needing to Crouch into places and have an Auto Crouch system instead to keep everything smooth and simple to focus more on challenges, puzzles, and exploring.

Where both flashlight (Left Click) and interact ("E" Key) would be combined into one (Left Click) and automatically toggle between each other based on what you are looking at.
