Discord integration

Hello. This is a little preview of the upcoming Discord integration feature.

The main idea is to show activity in the game.

Also, this feature will allow you not to connect to rooms by password but can simply generate an invite and people who have access to it will be able to connect to you.

This will be useful for groups of people (for example, teams or competitions) so that they do not have to search for rooms by password. Or you can send a DM to a friend with an invitation to play. Discord will automatically start the game if it is not running, and then Kino will connect you to the selected room.

In the mod settings, you can disable the “Ask to Join” button. Also there you can hide the room name display.

Keep in mind this is still Work In Progress. There are still things that are yet to be finished (such as icons).

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We are currently having backend issues. Which means that the mod might fail to request server data and as such Supporter features will not work in case the mod is unable to successfully retrieve the server data. Keep that in mind if you wish to donate, otherwise wait until the fix is in place. We'll make an announcement as soon as the issue is fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

UI Update Post #2

Here's a preview of the new icon style for the new UI. They are still WIP and are subject to change, but this should give you an idea of the final result.

In the meanwhile mod is getting completely retranslated and we expect the update to launch with at least majority of the languages that are available in the current version. 

UI Update

Hello.

Usually by the time we have something we are ready to announce it's practically ready for the release so there wasn't really anything to post. However...

This time we want to show you what we've been working on in the past weeks. We finally decided to remake the entire UI and bring back KINO's identity. This UI is much more pleasant to look at and is supposedly more intuitive. New UI features:
- Complete redesign
- Scalable and movable windows
- Dark and light themes (might have custom themes in the future)

Keep in mind this is still Work In Progress. There are still things that are yet to be finished (such as icons). We might post more information during the coming week.

We will use this page for polls and information for the upcomming features. We can't promise for this to get updated regulary, however we will do our best to keep you updated if anything worthy of notice comes up.
