floral embossed lingerie set v2.0 (g8f) (daz)

version 2: the panty and bra are now just single meshes, instead of a hierarchy system. so now you will be able to use external script on the outfit. careful with the smoothing setting, they do mesh up the smaller details on the outfit.

just replace this over your content folder and it will update all the files. if you havent installed the previous version, you dont need to install that. this will work on its own as well

to straighten the straps on the bra, go to your simulation settings tab, put the "start bones from memorized pose" to off, and "frames to simulate" to current frame, then simulate. (you dont have to wait till its fully simulated, once the straps are straight you can cancel the simulation)

more tassels testing

ok, so small straps with an opacity on it to create a tassel effect. the problem is that i still have to taper down the smaller segments to make dforce not break. and that results in to a clumping effect on the tassels. i think, if we going to use the opacity route, the previous version looks "better"

the annoying part is, making tassels with the fur option would be really easy to do, and it would look awesome . here i have not even applied subdivisions or smoothing to those smaller segments yet, cause that rounds of corners as well, so more tricks have to be applied to make this all work

so this is the result when using an opacity map for the tassels. as soon as i start applying some movement on the skirt its going to look weird, cause those tassels are going to stay uniform relative to each other.

i thought the paper thin cloth was going to give us an other issue, but i used a displacement map on the tassels, and that actually works really nice

dforce doesnt like small geometry. if i go any smaller with the tassels they start freaking out and dance all over the place. i had to taper them down too, cause no matter the size, the end tips will keep moving around and wont settle down

the solution would be to use fur instead or geometric strips. but then im going to need the PA version of daz to be able to save the fur setup and settings. this is getting frustrating now, not able to save stuff

ok, so imagine that grey thing on the shoulder is a metal shoulder pad, so its suppose to be rigid and not deform, and move along with the movement of the upper arm and shoulder.

the first is done with the transfer utility. the pad moves really nicely with the movement of the arm but it deforms, so not really what we want

on the second i parented the pad to the arm. but now the pad is clipping through the shoulder when the arm is raised

the third is done with non-linear ERC freeze. this works really nice, the pad even goes a little bit up when the arm almost reaches its highest point, so thats awesome. the only problem is, i cant save this. even if i just save the whole scene, load it up again, daz lost all its settings

dforce ribbon in combination with a morph to curve it around the body

how to use:

dforce tutorial for using the timeline. you can simulate everything at once or doing it one by one by freezing the meshes in the scene

adjust the shoulder pad before applying dforce 

apply dforce first on the ribbon, then apply the morph to bend it around the waist

how to use:

when you have poke throughs on the breasts, which will happen on larger breasts, there is fix_breasts morph inside the suit that will fix the poke throughs

you will have to set up the star on her chest manually, it has 3 morphs inside it to shape it.

isnt easy to make this work. way to many variables that change the location and rotation when posing, and to make it even worse, the shaping of the breasts is not linear either, so that effects the location of the star as well. so for now, the only solution i have for the star right now, is to set up manual for every single pose
