asagi - torso
torso is done, next up the gloves and boots. not easy to make this all work with the geoshell, but i think i figured it out

this is a bought product from rendo. just to see how other content creators set things up.
geoshell cant be used for stockings, gloves and everything alike. cause fingernails and toenails would be visible on them. so those have to be modeled. i guess you can make a morph on the hands to smooth out the finger tips to get rid of the nails, but i have not tested that so not really sure if thats a thing or not. for the toes could use a toecap, which is actually not that hard to do.
the biggest issues is, like i said in the previous post, textures just dont hold up. they work for complete bodyshots, but as soon as you come closer, its going to look bad.
just to be clear, im not bashing this content creator, what they did here is really impressive, and really hard to do!

i was asked to make an outfit and to use the geoshell inside daz. so, did some testing to see how to set things up. the purple part is the geoshell.
first all the positives, added the neck thingy to see how it all would react with each other, and that works all really nicely. can apply all kinds of shaders to the geoshell and thats works great too, and the geoshell is really close to the skin of the character, thats really awesome too.
ok now the bad parts, cause of how the g8 is setup, the uv mapping on the torso is not really ideal, so when using a 4k map, you end up with chunky lines. when using an 8k map, it looks a lot better, but we going to need at least 3 texture maps (diffuse, normal and bump) if not more (reflection, roughness, masks for the different kind of shaders). so that adds up and its going to be very resource heavy on your computer.
to set things up i need to model the outfit as a stand alone outfit first, then i can use some 3d magic to transfer everything over from the stand alone version to the geoshell version of the outfit. which is kind of a difficult process to do, and very time consuming.
to sum everything up, i dont think its a good idea to use the geoshell for clothing. its a lot of work for an end result thats not that great.

before hitting the simulate button, apply the "start pose" to the zeroed figure, so apply the pose on frame 0.
the "start pose" can be found in the main folder of the outfit
if you have any poke throughs after simulating use the "expand all" morph, which can be found in the morphs folder in the parameters tab, when the sweater is selected

if the front strap is hanging loose after simulating, you can apply one of the tighten presets to tighten up the front strap. just apply the preset and run the simulation again.
once done, apply the "shrink all" morph, and optional the side, and nipple morph. all morphs can be found by selecting the outfit, and in parameters tab there is a morph section.
for best result, when running a dforce simulation its best to not have any morphs active on the bra itself, so zero them out before re-running a dforce simulation

in the skirt are 2 morphs to make the skirt longer/shoter and to make it wider
if you going to apply your own textures, make sure in the surface tab, that the uv set is not set on default.
so for the boots, set it on boots, dress on dress and gloves on gloves.
