September W1 update

Hello! I hope you're having a nice start of the month!

I got a piece I owed from my last art raffle on Twitter finished! I am really really happy with how it turned out and I had so much fun working on it.

Rest of the pieces I bring you today are some studies I did with Ozus on Sunday and 4 sketches I gave away on my Twitch channel yesterday for my birthday!! I am very thankful of those of you who showed up and spent the day with me :))

For this week I have to work a bit in a check in for the Dragon Age calendar piece and will start working on two commissions and planning the spicy art :)

This was a bit of a convoluted week for me, but I still managed to finish a commission. The end of the month is going to be a bit tighter, but I'm excited to work on the rest of commissions and pieces I have to do!

March W2-3 update

Hello! I am updating to announce I'm officially back from my spring break. These two weeks have been very fun and I've got to show a dear friend my homeland Asturias and a bit of Madrid.

This piece was finished in a span of 24 hours after finishing the VEXCALIBUR exotic quest that was added to the game just before my trip. It was so hard to keep it secret for a week but I'm so happy with the events and how it turned out!

There's now a busy end of the month ahead, so I'll make sure to keep updating you guys :>

February W3 update

Hello! Hope you've had a lovely weekend.

This week I got a doctor appointment that took most of my mental space, but I could finished this commission for Hise that I am very proud of! Figuring out the setting for this and finally experimenting with this new style with backgrounds was very fun.

I also got a spicy piece done featuring my warlock Nelly with THAT new character from Lightfall (I won't be saying the name since I'm aware some of my patrons want to go as blind as possible when playing the game!). I am also really proud of how it came out and I cannot wait to use this style with the comic once I reach chapter 1 when I finish the next two pages.

December W5 and commission terms update

Hello hello! I'm back from my Christmas break! I had a nice time visiting my family and I hope you had a wonderful time too, regardless if you celebrated it or not!

We got back home last night but we were too tired (and late) so I'm personally still taking the weekend off to get a few things ready for New Years, like prepping the rewards of this month a few things for 2023!

Regarding what I'm changing about commissions, which will be good news for you! I am aware things are hard these times especially economically wise (I'm there too), so I've decided to make my commissions a bit more accessible and try new things.

• From now on, rendering of shadows and lights will be included in the base price, which was previously an extra 15%.
  
• Half body commissions over 270$ (ex: 2 characters+background ; 3 characters no background) will count with a 10% discount.
  
• Full body commissions above 310$ (ex: 2 characters+background ; 3 characters no background) will count with a 10% discount.

This will make you save up to a 25% base for high budget requests even for those who are not patrons (patrons will get up to 40% off depending on their tier)

That said, I am wishing you an amazing end of the year and a better start of 2023! Thank you very much for supporting me this year, I appreciate it so very much!

Data-7 (Destiny commission)

Hello! I finished this last night! This was a commission for Sissy. I was very excited to draw a broken mirror since that's something I will have to do for other (comic) stuff and a visual effect I've always wanted to paint or draw!

The process was much easier than I expected and I may do a little tut when I post this next week :D

Where the falcons leave their nests

My participation for the Destiny calendar! I asked on Twitter what characters deserved more love so this time it was Hawkthorne's turn :) I like her character a loot too, and I've been wanting to paint clouds for a while now.

This was the perfect excuse to practice a few things, and I'm happy how it turned out! Hope you like it as well.

Speedpaint I've just finished! (~4h30min) Got really inspired today apparently, hahaha. Also nice to blow some dust from my other OCs!!
Really happy with the result overall, I'm trying to do some more texture practice. Hope you like it!!

Pixel Garden

My first piece using pixel art! Done with Clip Studio and some brushes I got from ASSETS!

I did have a lot of fun doing this and I was surprised about how quick the volumes work in this style! Some of my fav games have pixel art but I never stopped to think about it. I'd like to investigate this style a bit more and find out how pixel art must be done when destined to be coded in games! That could also open some new oportunities to me in seeking a job :D

Vex in the Shell timelapse

Vex in the Shell

Finished this crossover piece for the next Destiny Artist Events' zine!
It'll be posted publicly on the 17th along many other fantastic artworks :DD

I loved working on this one so very much!!! Figuring the camouflage was so so so interesting! It was easier than I expected since I just had to copy the original poster. I kept the background a bit simpler since I drew part of the Garden instead of the city and I didn't want to overcomplicate it too much with a vex pillar structure or something like that.

For this illustration I did the linework for Val and most of the bottom part of the background as I usually do (on a separate layer and then work with the color underneath it) but the rest of the piece was a mix of linework and painting on top of the sketches! It was very interesting to do so and considering the rendering is not very painterly looking I found it a very relaxing process. It also makes the linework look a bit less crisp and more integrated with the colors :)
I did that since the reference is kinda old by now and so all the pictures I found were already very noisy so I didn't want it to look "vectorial" in a way. I also added some extra noise to the piece that I really like :D

Hope you like it as much as I do!!! Part of her story is heavily inspired by GiTs and I love the series very much (I even have the plugs tattooed on my nape!)

GRIME

Finally finished this piece! GRIME was one of my favorite indie games from 2021 that I played just a couple of months after its release. The universe and soundtrack are really so good and I fell in love with the concept of the game! If you like surrealism, metroidvanias and soulslike games, this one is definitely a good try. Plus, it doesn't feel really "unfair" on its mechanics so it doesn't feel frustrating at all to play!

I started this piece back in November 2021 but with other projects and some procastination (too many hands LOL, there are exacly 16 in this single piece) I just got my butt to get it done last night!

This may be also the most yellow/green piece I've ever done to date, too. Definitely very interesting to work with!

April's schedule!

Hello! Hope you're having a lovely day!

This is a tiny update to see what we have ahead of us for April!

Even with my move, I got a lot of work done for this month and a lot of support both from you and those clients who commissioned me during March! Since I could manage to save a bit, I want to work on my destiny fancomic Völuspá during April, hopefully getting some pages done.

I will still accept a few commission slots for my financial safety so it's not a full stop on them. What I'm going to do is opening the form (in a patron-only post and also in our Discord server) so you can early-claim one if you want to get a commission from me during April. Unless I have very little claimed slots, I won't offer them publicly.
Since we got a few new patrons here during March, I was thinking in giving them an opportunity to get one first if they want to continue being my patron.
Because of this decision and since slots are going to be a bit more limited this month, I plan to give those of you who are more returning and have been supporting me for longer an extra discount for May (if you want to claim it)! Just to thank your patience as well :)

The first art piece that I'm going to get my hands on will be an already claimed slot Sissy got for her titan. I made an announcement on Twitter offering two YCH (Your character here) slots since I would like to do 3 pieces out of this thumbnail displaying the 3 Destiny classes wielding the synaptic spear and void subclass. If you'd like to get one for a hunter, it's 250€ and you can claim it here.

This/these pieces will be done on stream so I have something to do publicly on my channel at least for early-mid month while I work on my comic on the days I'm not live on Twitch (giving you more early access to what's coming), followed by those other commissions I might get claimed. That makes the estimated turn around a bit later than the usual, meaning, I will get in contact with you if you request a slot to confirm your submission, but I will only be sending you the payment link when I start your art piece (as per usual) most probably on the second half of the month. If at that point you changed your mind for any reason at all, that's totally fine! You can let me know any time and I would appreciate it so I can organize myself and maybe offer your slot to somebody else here or on Twitter.

As a side note, I am also organizing an art raffle on my Twitter page for getting to the 5K follower milestone! :) You can participate by simply following me there.
