New Tiers

As of today the new tier structure is now in place. This structure is uniform across both Patreon and Subscribestar and features a simplified reward system with faster and more direct benefits.

The reason for the redesign was in part to reduce my over all administrative workload and to create parity between the platforms through which this project can be supported.

Lately I've been trying to downsize all the administrative stuff that I'm doing for the game. Especially in light of the real job hammering me a little harder than usual it's been a goal to try and wrangle as many minutes of the day as possible for work on the game.

Time for another one of my favorite "nothing to report" posts!

Progress

Chugging right along. All systems are go. The Scrivener to Renpy Converter is working perfectly. The new Image Verification Script used to track down missing or mislabeled images is proving itself an invaluable time saver. And the Content Packaging Tool for scanning the game folder and stripping out the new content and uploading it to Mega is working flawlessly.

2021-04-11 Weekly Test Render

I've got a news post coming tomorrow, but for now I wanted to share the latest test render from our Live Streams this week.

This scene was much more complex than others we'd done so far. But it came together pretty smoothly and the lighting was nailed in the first attempt.

This sets us up to start working on new Emily content this week as well as we'll be able to milk this setting for quite a bit.

Here is a character that has long been in the works. I've teased her in the past but I've just recently finalized her design and personality.

Originally I was saving Sarah for introduction in Monica's upcoming chapter. But as I thought more about the character, who she was and her role in the story, I found other places that she fit as well.
