Goons Raid Her XCF pack

Hi folks !

Just a quick gift here before the the release of v1.0.

XCF is the equivalent of a PSD file for the GIMP (GNU Manipulation Image Program). These are some source XCF files for several Goons Raid Her scenes, full resolution, uncompressed and separated in layers.

It's a cool source for creating custom art, or figuring how the final game resources are created. I always kept a lot of these but never thought about posting them. Well here it is!

Developer's Diary #74

Hi folks!

I hope you liked v0.8 ! I'm already working on the final version, fixing bugs and finishing the gallery.

I'll also add an "Ending Editor" like the one you might remember from Hack'n Stalk 2. If you don't feel like playing the game again to know how the story could end, the ending editor allows you to select several important variables and then play from the start of Chapter 7 or directly into an ending sequence.

You'll notice the ending more than deserves to have a gallery because the scenes timing were supposed to flow in the same pace of the context they were placed.

Hi folks!

That's it! Final lines were written! Closing scenes were done! Now I just need a couple of days to do more testing and polishing.

I decided to complete the gallery in a posterior release, so I can get more bug reports and do a few full testing playthroughs before wrapping a definitive 1.0 version. It should come about one or two week after this next release.

Hi folks!

Another quick update here. The final story scene (with it's 8+ dialog/art branches) is done! It will be based on your choices during the game and will lead to the ending sequence. Also, there will be a final choice on some paths where the DOMINANCE points can be used again (if you walked on that road).

Hi folks!

Work continues in the final-chapter-conclusion-epilogue-ending (I love these words). I managed to split the tasks in a few items so you can follow a simple roadmap. There are 4 paths  now, combined with 2 two different but important 'states' for our characters, making the scenes 8 times more complex to design!

Goons Raid Her [v0.7]

Hi folks!

Here's the release of v0.7! This version closes Chapter 6 and now we have only the Chapter 7 / Epilogue remaining !

There're two paths in the climax, so the exploration of the old temple can end with an extended hot scene or some old style action. The romance path doesn't have a hot scene this time, but I'll try to make up for it in the epilogue.

Here's another status update about on the next release. The ceremony scene has the most complex animations in the game, so it took (and it's still taking) a lot of work !

Hi folks!

Work continues on the release. The ending of chapter 6 will come with action, adrenaline and other hormones.

I'm also adding a new setting option called "Assisted Aiming" which makes shootout scenes (like the one in the end of Chapter 4) a bit more easier to those using janky mouses or trying to play with trackpads. It will make the bad guys "hit boxes" larger and display a target icon when they can be shot.

This was a rough week, but I managed keep working and planning the next release. I decided to extend the final sequence of Chapter 6  a little bit and work on Chapter 7/Epilogue in a separate version so we avoid a long(er) interval without releases.

Goons Raid Her [v0.6.2]

Hi folks!

Here's the release of v0.6.2 ! This version adds new sections to the gallery and 2 new hot scenes  in chapter 6 to the romance path. You can now send the girl to deal with the goons in this path and enjoy the "reward" she promised last version.

Notice that if you are not doing a romance playthrough, you won't see anything new in this build besides the updated gallery.

Here's an Winx86/OSX build release combo. This one (hopefully) fixs a pesky bug in v0.6 that might lock you in an animation loop during the new hot scene if you skip dialog too fast. Nothing else new on this one, so feel free to skip this version if you can play the prior one without any problems..
