Progress Update 1/1/18:

Happy New Year, everyone! And a belated happy holidays.

Progress on the next DtRH continues. Christmas put me a bit behind, since I ended up losing a couple of work days to seeing family and the like. On top of that, the script ended up being much longer than anticipated; where the Time Cube episode had a little less than 5,500 words, the final edit for this script ended up having 6,462. (I know I said 6,200 or so on Twitter, but I ended up adding a bit more)

Hey everyone! Script is, again, almost done. Much like the Time Cube episode, it kind of got longer the more I went at it, but for actual real this time I'm pretty sure I'm almost done now. Don't worry, though, it's just as dense as ever.

I'm in Emperor TTS!

Hi guys! Sorry this announcement is a bit late, I've been out and about away from my computer.

I'm in the most recent episode of "If the Emperor had a Text-to-Speech Device," a parody of the Warhammer 40K universe, playing as the character Eldrad Ulthran, also called Eldrad Far-Seer (basically an elf). I've loved this show for years, and it's surreal and exciting to not only be in it, but have the role of a recurring character.

After seeing the (justified) backlash against their changes to pledges, Patreon has decided to keep the way they process pledges the same for now. So what does this mean?

What's going on with pledges?

 tl;dr The minimum amount for each person to pledge is effectively being raised slightly (35 cents), but creators are receiving a larger percentage of pledges.

It's been mentioned around in a lot of places recently, and Patreon will be mentioning it in an e-mail, but Patreon is changing how they are processing pledges. In effect, they are taking a significantly smaller percentage of all pledges, but they are also adding a 35 cent fee to each pledge.

An Update on the Next Episode

My writing process has become pretty arduous; I've gotten into the habit of looking directly at the source material whenever I'm writing a sentence that references it, rather than relying on notes to help reduce errors. I'm reeling right now. I'm going to be honest, when I started making videos I didn't think I'd ever make it this far. Thank you, to all of you, for believing in me even when I didn't always believe in myself.
