For this month I thought it best to do some summer/water themed characters. All of these Disney girls spend a lot of time either in or around water, but what would happen if they were taken away from it? For this first part of the poll, who is the poor unfortunate soul that gets taken away from her beloved water?

Hey, just as a quick heads up, I will be away until the middle of August. I have stuff scheduled to be posted while I'm away, but if I seem unresponsive over the next couple of weeks, it's because I won't really be here. I will do my best to respond to people when I return.

Father Daughter issues

Though Octavia tries to avoid her father at all costs, they still occasionally bump into each other. When they do, it usually doesn't end well for the poor girl. 

Octavia's father blames her for her mother's ill health and eventual death since she fell sick soon after Octavia's birth and never recovered.  This meant no more children, and specifically no strapping sons for her father to raise into rough and tumble orc men. Because of this, he takes his anger out on Octavia whenever he gets the chance.

There's nothing like the thrill of the hunt, especially when the prey in question is an escaped slave worth quite a bit of money. 

Looks like Octavia's scarf got removed somehow and now her slave collar is exposed! I don't know if she'll be able to outrun this one...

This picture was inspired by an old Neopets card I got at McDonalds when I was just a kid. I don't know what happened to that card, but I obviously never forgot the image of a villain looming over a cute girl while she sleeps.

Not sure who this warlock type guy is, but I think he's going to make sure Octavia isn't dreaming for much longer.

Oh come now, Octavia, everyone needs to tie you up. Even you do!

I first conceived the idea of Octavia back in college, and at that time she looked much more like the orc on the right than the one on the left. For the longest time, I wasn't sure what to do with her, but as time wore on, I said "I just want a cute orc girl, dammit!" Thus, the helpless orc we all know and love was born. 

Fake Octavia

My husband and I were playing Crash Bandicoot, and I got the idea to draw a fake Octavia based off of the fake Crash concept. I think she came out pretty good, though I don't think real Octavia is too impressed. 

Octavia comic WIP

Hey, I've got some work done on that comic I started eons ago! Since I can only work on it in my spare time, it's been a long and slow process. It's getting there though!

I wonder what kind of horrible situation Octavia has found herself in this time?
