seriously. this december is gonna be quite the visual spectacle and maybe even a narrative one as i'll probably deliver a massive chunk of my novel as well.

fine print book 1 preorder warning

hey, just wanted to post this here as well for those that may have missed it on my social media. 

currently there is a shortage of paper affecting everyone in the industry so my publisher, image comic has announced that there won't be reprints anytime soon

with fine print bool 1 being released in november, its preorders being relatively low has affected it's printrun size and it's not that crazy big.

this means that if it gets any buzz o...

so i got an idea for this december

hear me out. these last 2 years i've stockpiled a bunch of unfinished illustration piece s of my characters with a lot of potential. so here's my idea

this december we take a 1 month pause on comics and i finish and deliver about 16 high resolution illustrations here split between tiers. 5 for tier 1, mostly sunstone focused

8 for tier 5 and 3 more for tier 6

now, while this is something i'd love to do, it is still your support that keeps me afloat so ...

achilles shieldmaidens update

welp here we are. it's a bit clunky and i intend to polish it over time as i'm still gettign into the groove of writing another lore heavy book. been a while since ravine. this one has that  level of complexity that i'm still figuring out how to deliver perfectly.

this will still get a bunch of polish but till then, i hope you like it for at the very least its potential :)

now i'm off to sleep cause i gotta get to death vigil tonight

this time some high rez  covers  if you want to print them for yourselves. i had something saucier planned of this month but some patreon issues cost me four days of work and derailed my plans a bit

those will be delivered next month tho :)

back in action

had a frustrating weekend that cost me a lot of productivity as i couldn't log in to patreon so i kept trying to resolve that

anyways i'm back almost 3 bloody days lost. death vigil update lands on the 30th but not the planned 15 pages but instead 10

again... lost time.

i sill catch up to my plans tho. it's a personal thing. i don't like failing my own schedule. anyhow see you soon :)

last night top cow's guy in charge for assembling the book pointed out that i fucked up page numbers  where for a year now i had the pages jump from 51 to 53  bwtween 2 spreads so i had to produce an additional page


so yeah. i did that XD

i'll reupload the updated pdf for that later in the month as well XD

now back to sunstone. attic is getting steamy and silly at the same time

 a bit light this month as i produced over 30 comic pages and sent a book to print. been a wild one. necxt month however i can take a second to breathe and finish some nice things so it's gonna be a fun one.

now i gotta assemble ravine pdfs and reupload fine print updated version with added pages. this day just keeps on going XD

today as i sit here finishing up fine print volume 1  bonus content, i'm once again reminded that this book, just like death vigil, the queen and the woodborn, and achilles shieldmaidens exist solely because of the support of people on my patreon.

for the longest time i couldn't take creative risks, relying on the usual model of producing comics because too many comic stores wouldn't carry my comics so floppies were out of the question. mind you i don't blame the stores. every book...

later this month i will assemble some high quality pdfs of my first ever creator owned comic ravine. 2 volumes were made so far and after death vigil is fully completed i intend to try and get this thing back from the dead XD

ravine in a way is a tale of my own journey both as an artist and in general a storyteller. it's a clunky mess of a story in volume 1 overly bogged down with lore  that never lets the characters breathe properly, only to increase in quality drastically in volu...

payment changes november onwards

recently i've been noticing an increasing number of content swipers. people who come in do a quick tier upgrade, take the content and then drop down the tier.

now, listen. sooner or later all of my work will be posted online for free.  i'm a great fan of webcomic formats and a storyteller who loves an active audience

having said that, it is disrespectful to those that support me on higher tiers for me to simply ignore a growing situation here. so i will be changing the paymen...
