So, you guys know we are in Louisiana filming some machine guns for the show. The plan was to leave Thirsday at 8am for a 12 hourish drive.We made it as far as Pooler Georgia before the steering suddenly decided to go soggy enough to be undriveable.It took until 5pm to have a shop swap the steering gear and shaft, both obviously warn. This tightened the mess up just enough for us to hit the highway as every shop in the region was closing for the day.Trouble is the core problem remained, just muf...

At the moment we are on track for our first negative growth month on Patreon.  We're down all of $1.60 but I think it says something about us reaching the peak of our current market.

So if anyone has ideas about outreach, have at it.  We're a bit slammed through November but early next year I could start trying to reach out to podcasts, interviews, etc.

Gun Santa

A friend of the show and rabid collector dropped by with a set of rifles for us. Try to name them all?

Sometimes I like to stop by C&S Shooting Sports to quickly test guns or ammo. This time it was the Winchester 1907. As a bonus we brought along the MP18 to show the owner, a fellow milsurp buff. I think the last 5 times I have headed over were the same 5 days he finally took a day off.

I want to point out that I LOVE our patrons. I don't have to worry about appeasing some brand or product, or creating clickbait videos.

Also, when I noticed the Suburban dumped water from the heater core and that its reservoir looks like a zen fountain today, my only worry was moving around the schedule and downgrading some plans to free up time and coin to get the headgasket sorted. 

This would previously result in me spending a week  under the hood in short bursts ...
