Pink Fantasy by Kay Jay

DAMN! KAY JAY FUCKING KILLED THIS SET!!! I was so worried about our shoot together because I first of all - do not like flash and do not use it at all. While I was shooting Kay Jay I still had some light left, but when it was my turn to be the subject we were in the dark. Thankfully Shauntia brought her Alien Bee and helped Kay Jay with figuring it out and we made this amazing set together! Full setup

For those curious about what I normally use, here is my now full setup! A Canon 24mm 1.4L, a sigma 35mm 1.4 art lens, a canon 85mm 1.4L, a Canon 100mm 2.8L macro lens, and a Canon 135mm 2.0L lens. My main body is my Canon 5D MkIV (I’m hoping to add a second one of those in the next few months) and my backup (not pictured) is my old Canon 70D. Enter the Playhouse

Oof. This room. WAS SUCH A MESS!!! It definitely stumped me because some aspects of the room were definitely not shootable or likable just due to the nature of the decoration. Carolyn and I shot this set in about 5 minutes I believe. We still got a buttload of amazing shots and somehow made the room work. Looking back I wish I tried a little bit more with it, but I am still overall really happy with what we came up with! Take a peek below and enjoy :)

Birthday in Bainbridge
