Update!: C64 Mini in a C64 🙀

Dear Patreons 

Surprisingly, getting THEC64 Mini inside the real C64 wasn't the difficult part... the faulty Keyrah adapter I waited 3 months for was. That's the device that converts the C64 keyboard output to a USB input hopefully compatible with the Mini. This project has taken a longer as a result. 

The good news is it's looking very good now and I should have a video up this week, hopefully showing the real 1984 keyboard and joystick controlling the Mini on screen via glori...

Here's a video that leads on from the Atari 800XL Extreme Refurb, after which a lot of people asked, "What about those yellow keys?"

Retrobriting yellow lettering on old retro keyboards usually involves removing all the keys with a keycap puller, and in some cases desoldering the shift lock key. I wanted to test whether it was possible to get a similar effect by cheating a little. Let's find out!
