I recently learned that our thoughts are actually not "us", the voices we hear in our head are a repeating of random beliefs we have derived from our experiences over life. We can let them control us, defeat us, or we can channel them into positivity and self love, to have a better, happier life. I defeated my fears of failure with modeling initially by just... modeling despite my insecurities! I was so insecure about my stretch marks and my extremely short stature... The first time I came to Tahiti, I could not reach this airplane. The other model that was traveling with us was a trained freediver, and she could easily dive down.
