I'm planning on selling some commissions soon featuring folks' sonas done up in a cartoony style similar to the ones above, but right now I only have drawings of my own bear to use for examples!

The biggest thing I've realized so far is that WOW I got rusty at figure drawing. It's so easy to get lazy with just plain study-focused drawing once you're out of art school. Glad I'm getting back into it.

I caught myself recently staring at some excellent illustrations and feeling really jealous of how 3 dimensional the people seemed, like you could reach out and grab their arm if you wanted to. After a few minutes I realized... I can learn how to draw like that if I just study more. So I'm resolving to do more figure drawing when I can.
