Chapter 3 - Cleaning Up A Little PART 3!

Aaaand here's the last teaser you're going to get for awhile (sorry!). These thumbanails are turning out way, way better than any I've ever done before, because I'm using a pen I didn't even knew existed up until I found it in my desk drawer. But it makes these big, bold lines that encourages (ie: forces) me to plan out the values, lights, and darks of each panel along with their compositions. You can see it in the picture here. All right, I'm going to get back to work.

That last panel looks very, very different in its raw state as inks - so getting the colors back from Yoko was incredibly lethargic because it had the exact emotional impact I hoped it would. Perspective will always be the death of me, but buildings are so dang easy provided I have references. I do like how if I'm drawing buildings, my mind just goes blank and I can just think. That doesn't happen often when I'm drawing.
