2020-11-26 00:33:54 +0000 UTC View PostFelt inspired by a lot of the talks in Discord and on my channel, so I've worked on a targeted buff and some tweaks to Berserker and Wild Magic to get them more "in-line" with something I would consider an S-grade class on my scale. This could be a pretty fun series to keep working on!

2020-11-11 04:31:05 +0000 UTC View PostSince the Merchant had the most favorable opinions in comments and polls, my first Patron Exclusive subclass will go towards my most popular homebrew class! With that said, what kind of subclass would you all like to see?

The Ascendant Dragon Monk and Drakewarden Ranger were dropped in a recent Unearthed Arcana (Subclasses, Part 5). The two options bring about all kinds of dragon-y goodness for character options that definitely fill a really clear gap in D&D 5e.
2020-10-27 06:55:23 +0000 UTC View PostThis is going to be a new thing for all of you supporting me here! I'll be doing a monthly creation of something homebrewed for Dungeons & Dragons 5e. Feel free to comment some other ideas for a future Patron Exclusive!
This month, I've got a few ideas up on deck: patrons will first vote on what the exclusive will be from either a new subclass, a new race, or alternate mechanics. Next week, I'll take the winner and start fielding some ideas off of that!
This option...
2020-10-22 22:45:07 +0000 UTC View PostAfter many viewers have suggested it, I've finally put together something of a Discord server! Still figuring this whole thing out, but I think this is a great way to talk about stuff away from social media and YouTube. Come join in!

In this video, I propose an argument that out of all the stuff you can buy in Chapter 5 of the Player's Handbook, Donkey may very well be the biggest bang for your buck.

This was a race requested by a viewer on my YouTube livestream, created with the help of Ross Leiser over at Outlandish Adventure Productions! Definitely a strong one, but it feels like it captures the ghostly vibe many players are looking for out of this character concept!
2020-09-24 03:13:24 +0000 UTC View PostHey all! Taking a few days off to celebrate my 31st birthday!
Next week, I'm starting to tackle my to-do list of videos:
Sorcerer/Paladin Build (Requested)
Addressing some old subclass ratings (Requested)
Music Appreciation - Jazz for Beginners
Mistborn Post-Read
Let me know if you have any video requests!
The Excel Spreadsheet is downloadable as an attachment to this post. It will be updated if certain ratings change or I figure out a better system for formatting this thing.

2019-04-14 19:57:08 +0000 UTC View PostHere's a transcription I have been aching to do for a hot minute, Emily Remler's dazzling solo on Clifford Brown's "Daahoud".
Remler was completely self-taught from listening to Wes Montgomery. She showed promise of being one of the torchbearers of neo-bop and traditional bebop during the age of fusion, but her career was cut tragically short in 1990 when Remler died of heart failure in Sydney, Australia.
Since then, jazz guitar has been lacking a female superstar like Remle...
