This isn't quite ready yet for the vote, but I'm sure you get the idea.

Next Vote will go live this Monday, and vote will be open for a week. price will be $125 per character. We've dipped a lil below the actual goal for these votes, but I really want to keep doing them, so I'm gonna keep trying.

That horse lady thing i started has been pushed to the back burner as working on it started making me really frustrated. Can't figure out how i want it to look.

SO i've been working on this painting instead. been working on it friday/saturdays and hoping to have it done soon. i really love how its turning out and its been so wonderful returning to traditional media. i need to make that a priority again.

I've had this sketch lying around for a while and finally got to fiddle with it last night. Just really wanting to return to my original love of fantasy girls, and render some skin tone. Not sure if and when I'll get around to finishing it, and what technique I'll use if I do. but it looks nice enough in this rough state.

I'm getting new stuff ready for the next YCH vote.

Finished painting of Zigg. Got more detailed/refined than I had originally planned but hopefully some folks will be able to appreciate that. I get so in the zone when i paint!! I'm pretty happy with how it came out but will be working on simplifying my technique in the future. I think this took 16-18 hours?

Things Are Happening!!

I never properly screamed and shouted here about hitting that $100 milestone, but trust me, I am over the moon with gratitude and excitement!!

I am trying to get at least 3 YCH illustrations sketched out and ready by the time all the patron payments have been processed (i think they're usually all done by the 5th) So that way we can start this whole voting thing nice an early in April and hopefully that will continue to be the schedule for this.

This was a fun project, a good study in light, and I definitely learned a lot.

I'll give out a Hi Res file to $3+ supporters after this month's pledges go through. i think viewing it in hi res is worth it. the brush i was using has a lovely texture to it and i went a lil overboard with details in some places....but some of that is lost in the current pixel squishing.

this has been like a good...assignment? for myself. i'm learning stuff and have a much better feel for using manga studio now

but boy oh boy i am just gonna go straight to painting with local color from now on. current plan is to lay everything down with gradient maps first, and then paint on a layer, on top of everything, to get it to all look cohesive and less dull.
