Sketch Suggestions Thread

If you'd like to suggest ideas, characters, poses etc. for the rough sketches, here's a thread for you. (If I draw your suggestion I'll try to post it for everyone so it's not locked behind the $5 sketch tier.)

testing testing, new tier. i'm thinking i'll make a new thread every sunday, adding sketches to it during the week. patreon should send out notifications when a thread has been updated.

edit: trying out the notification-on-edit feature. maybe posting sketches in batches would be smoother, but i do like sharing the sketches as they're done. might post batches here, but sharing as i go on discord?

new batch ready. got another mini-narrative done! those have turned out to be very fun to do.

gonna try to get that separate sketch tier published before the next batch of these. been a bit swamped.

Skeches 8/23

The first sketch is kinda fun. It has a narrative to it -- woman at work, blouse popping open during a stretch, then an awkward(or not so awkward) moment with a coworker. I'm spending the coming week doing master/environment studies, so no batch of sketches next week. Back to the usual schedule after that.

i quite like the color sketches from this batch. would love to flesh out all of those, creating a small narrative sequence of paintings. 

though that glory hole sketch is kinda fun too. :)

tug

this felt alright! there was enough time to flesh out the parts i wanted to focus on (face/general lighting) but also enough time pressure to keep me from straying outside of that narrow focus. wanna try this again once the yellow bikini pic is finished, see if the feeling sticks around. 

Sketches 8/09

new batch! 

the golden bikini pic is still nowhere near finished. i expanded the canvas somewhat and the added environmental stuff is taking up a fair amount of time. lots of flowers, like in the bethrie ych pic. i like how it's shaping up and don't want to rush it, but i also don't want to go too long without having something to show. so with that in mind, i think i'll put the pic aside for a little bit and do something much, much faster.

sketches 7/26

splitting the sketches into separate images from now on for convenience. 

i tried sticking to a theme this week -- drawing sharlene, figuring out her personality and how to express it through posing and scenarios. she seems like the confident, charismatic type to me.

no sketches next week btw. back on schedule the week after that. i'm gonna break these posts out into a separate $5 tier next month, make it kind of like a peek-at-the-process tier where i post sketches&studi...

Sketches

Another batch of rough sketches. Nearing the finish line with the piece i've been working on. Time to decide what's next. I was really leaning toward doing the "woman riding anthro" pic from a couple batches ago so I fleshed out that sketch with some colors, but then that golden bikini sketch happened and ah, I think it looks so neat. Having a hard time choosing, so maybe a quick patreon poll in a day or two.  

Sketching out ideas for what's next

We talked a bit about this in in the discord server, but I've been doing rough sketches daily as part of my warm up, using it as a way of practicing composition while also jotting down ideas for what I'd like to work on next. Here's a batch from the last couple weeks.

Sharlene Character Model Sheet

Dry, technical drawings, but I think that helped keep it low stress. Working on these felt kinda chill, which is not something I'd ever expect when trying to capture a character's likeness. Hardest thing there is for me.

i'm cancelling the nelly + cutie pic. sorry, can't seem to get it done. i'm also taking a step back from the polls/suggestions cycle. at some point those pics became a source of stress, and nowadays i dread working on them. i'm going to draw whatever comes to mind for a while. 

ych wip/status update

I think I have to give up on this "your character here" pic. Despite redrawing her face several times it just won't come together. I really like the mood of the pic though, so I'd like to give it a couple more days. If it's still not looking right by then, which seems very likely, I'll move on. 

In another bit of bad news, this pic pretty much swallowed up all my time, meaning the "happy anal" pic is still nowhere near done. I don't want to pause billing again as it turns out new p...
