Live2D Comm WIP

Challenge: 7 days to draw #1

Zoid suggested me to do this challenge often to practice drawing something quick and then pay attention to the mistakes and try to focus on the mistakes on the next challenge.

This one I finished in 6 days, then zoid noticed my hand was looking bad (am I AI? lol) and also I had colors going out of the lineart, so I fixed it~

He also said I'm too used to draw my OC so next challenge needs to be someone else, I'm open to suggestions!!

Zoid me sugeriu fazer esse desafio de terminar um desenho em 7 dias com frequência pra praticar desenhar algo rápido e prestar atenção nos erros e tentar focar neles no próximo desafio.

Eu terminei esse em 6 dias, ai Zoid notou que a mão estava bem feia (eu sou IA? XD) e também tinha cores saindo por fora da lineart, então eu arrumei~

Ele também disse que eu já estou acostumada a desenhar minha OC então no próximo desafio vou fazer outra pessoa, aceito sugestões!!

And I also just noticed the tags are no longer appearing on the page, they added a new tab now called Collections, so I added the respective posts there to organise everything~

I was very busy with commissions and streaming schedules recently but I finally managed to finish the Jellyfish custom drawing~

Updates:

- The new weekly schedule Jacob made for me is helping a lot to speed up my work progress. Still not perfect cause I fail to follow it sometimes but I'm working on it.

- I decided to not create anything new on Fubie 2.0, so I will make only what is already sketched and what was already requested on Discord feedback channel. That way the model won't delay too much to be done ;u; cause I keep having ideas and there is no end to it. I will keep allowing my ideas to flow but they will be applied in the future so you guys can participate on them.

- A agenda nova que o Jacob fez pra eu seguir está me ajudando bastante a terminar os trabalhos mais rápido. Ainda não está perfeito porque eu pulo algumas tarefas as vezes mas eu to trabalhando nisso.

- Eu decidi não criar nada novo na Fubie 2.0, irei fazer somente o que já está no esboço e o que já foi pedido no chat de feedback lá do Discord. Assim a modelo não vai demorar décadas pra ficar pronta ;u; porque eu fico tendo ideias novas e num tem fim. Eu vou continuar tendo idéias novas mas vou aplicá-las no futuro, assim vocês vão poder participar também!

Debut Update

This is how big my lore notes looks so far, and I still didn't start typing about Fubie ;u;

I do have a friend who accepted to narrate the lore for the video but we still need to try some samples to check if it will sound good~

Drawing Practice

I took my rest day to learn about perspective!
I don't have experience drawing backgrounds and rooms so I grabbed a few youtube tutorials to learn that ~

I can say I understand how vanishing points work now and I'll be practicing rooms next time I'm free again 🫧

Model 2.0 Updates

Yes I'm very conflicted on what pink tone to use for shading the hair ;u; this is supposed to be my hair when released from braids but I'm still experimenting the shadows. The shape of the front part will probably stay as it is~

Bonus: The hand tracking that is started! I will be rigging it separately because since it's my first time rigging this type of feature, it might need lots of art adjustments.

If I'm making a Patreon exclusive livestream will be rigging this hand!

Sim eu estou bem indecisa em qual tom de pink usar pra sombrear o cabelo ;u; esse cabelo é a versão de quando eu não estiver de tranças mas eu ainda estou experimentando a sombra. O formato da parte da frente vai provavelmente ser este mesmo~

Bônus: Já comecei a fazer o rig da mao! Eu vou estar rigando ela separado da modelo já que é a primeira vez trabalhando nesse tipo de asset, pode ser que precise de vários ajustes na arte.

Se eu fizer uma live apenas para Patronos, vai ser rigando essa mão!

Website Future Design Update

In case you guys don't know, I use a website builder for my portfolio and stuff.

I was using Zyro but their plan renew was getting too expensive so I'm migrating to Wix! It will expire in June 26th so this is my deadline.

I'm still building it but this is how it's looking so far~ (I'm adding Uni's name to the supporter list after posting this, dw u.u)

I might change the logo and the home background to Fubie 1.0 one until my debut, it won't look good on the website cause I'm making it to match the new design!

If you guys have any suggestion let me know! <3

Model Hair Update

I was having issues drawing braids ;u; the references from google were not enough, so I asked mom to lend me some of her wool so I could make the braids irl and use it as reference and it worked!

Making braids on my own hair was also not enough cause the color is the same so this method was perfect lol

Of course this is just a sketch, and ignore the chubby part, it will be useful for the rigging step~

Eu estava com dificuldades pra desenhar tranças ;u; as referências do Google não foram o suficientes então eu pedi pra minha mãe me emprestar pedaços de lã pra eu fazer as tranças e usar de referência e funcionou!

Fazer trança no meu próprio cabelo também não foi o suficiente pq a cor é a mesma então esse método foi perfeito kkk

Claro que esse é só o rascunho, e ignore a parte gordinha, vai ser útil pra quando eu for rigar no live2d~

Should I try?

I drew some guides for the future when I rig my new model. I wonder if I should accept a challenge to rig a 90º head turn.. I'm not sure if all the face and hair layers are compatible with this, I will know once I start rigging only lol.

Model Update

My new face is complete!

Now I wanted to update the gills and outfit. I can't show everything but I will for sure post more sneak peaks here than to public!

Also my new body is almost done, only missing hands and feet. I'm making the body and outfit separated so in case I want to switch outfits I won't need to redo the whole body parts~

2.0 Design Update

I commissioned a friend of mine to make this cuuuuuuute logo that I will only show after the debut ;u;

We got the ideas from the place I have in mind, and he added axolotl gills and things I have on the tail~ I love it!

I will probably try to make overlays that match this logo or commision him again for it later.

He said until the debut I can still ask him for adjustments, I don't think it will be needed cause it looks so cute already but just in case ♥ I was his first vtuber logo commission, so I'm insisting for him to create a portfolio to get more commissions in the future, once he does I will share it here!

Fubie 2.0 Update

I think I already said this before somewhere, the first sketch of Fubie 2.0 had an eye style that looks more energetic overall.

My personality is more lazy and sleepy, of course I feel energetic too, but it's way different compared to someone who's constant like that, also my voice doesn't fit that look, this is why I chose this one.

Sleepy, comfy, cute and soothing. That's the vibe of Fubie 2.0! My vibe!

Why force yourself to be in character if you can make a character that fits you? ♥
