Dev Update

Really happy with the progress this weekend.  At this stage, I'm guessing, I'm approx. 90% done and I also re-rendered about 10% of the images (as I wasn't happy with them).  So... of the completed renders, there shouldn't be many touch-ups required once I get into the testing phase in a couple of days.

Script -wise, I'm happy with the progress (probably about 95% done), but not the quality, so I will need to go back over that also.

Still on track for release on the 26th!

Dev Update

Spent a lot of time working on the game this week, so still on track for a 26th July Release.  Approx. 75% (70% script /coding & 80% of renders) done, although I haven't left myself the usual time I give to proof-read and proof-play a few dozen times.  Have cancelled all plans for this weekend, so I should make a lot of progress between now and Monday.

Dev Update

Last month I mentioned that Episode 6 & 7 may have minor delays as I had two weeks vacation planned (last week of July / first week of August).  However, because of the Patreon hassles at the start of this month, I don't want a double hassle of the Patreon mess, plus a delayed release, so I've pushed out my vacation by a few days and this should be enough to allow me to get episode 6 out before the end of the month (instead of early next month).

Hey Folks,

Just looking for feedback on what people would like to see more of / less of or improved.  Every episode always comes down to a compromise between quantity / quality / release time and between character progression / story progression  and between pacing / sexual encounters, so if there's any bandwidth to change the ratios of these compromises, based on your inputs, I'll try to incorporate.

Episode 5 is now available to ALL (previously only available for $5+ patrons).  I have updated the links on the Main Page (Overview Page), so everyone can now access the latest episode.

Start of week update

At this stage, ALL of the Patreon issues should be resolved, but please DM me if anyone has any issues or questions.

Other than the Patreon stuff, I haven't heard of any bugs / errors or Save Game issues which I'm glad to hear.  So far, there hasn't been an episode where previous Save Games weren't compatible, and I'll continue to try to keep that up as it bothers me when you are forced to re-play a game from the beginning every time a new episode comes out.  Personally, I usually re...

Disaster!

Just wanted to apologise again for all of the hassle with accessing my Posts.  Patreon cutomer response has been very poor.  Firstly, they took way too long to re-instate my page and still haven't completely fixed the issue where patrons cannot see posts. 

But pledging down (e.g. from $10 to $1 and then back) seems to fix the issue.  But if you are doing this, please only pledge downwards, so if you are a $5 fan, change to $1 and then back to $5.  Do not change from $5...

Walkthrough Posted below

In the confusion of access / no access to my posts... In case any of you missed it, I published a walkthrough for Episodes 1-4.  Let me know if any issues.....

And for anyone that hasn't seen Episode 5 yet, I have introduced a stats screen (at the end of Day 1 and at the end of episode 3, 4 & 5).

All future episodes will also allow you to check your stats also (at the end of each episode).

Episode / Rev naming

May not be of interest to a lot of you, but just wanted to share....

From this month, I am dropping my "revision" naming for each episode as it is slightly confusing, e.g. Episode 5 was 0.07.  Episode 3 was 0.06, etc.

(The reason they didn't sync up is because the initial releases 0.01 and 0.02 weren't full episodes, so Episode 1 was actually 0.03)

So I am going to keep it simple and use Episode numbers only and drop the 0.0x tracking.  Current release = Episode 5.  ...

Weekend Off

Folks, I've been relatively quiet because I took Friday night and Saturday off from development to do some "normal" / real life activities.  Before that, I'd worked on the game for 27 out of the last 29 days, so decided I deserved a break. :)  So I manged to squeeze 4 weeks worth of drinking into these two days, so a good weekend was had by all.  No concerned comments please as this was typical Irish / social drinking , not the listening to Enya, alone, staring into the abyss type...

Release Date for Episode 5

Folks.  Putting a line in the sand and saying the release date for Episode 5 will be the 29th June.  I would like to try to shave another couple of days off this, so it could be earlier, but I'm committing that it won't be any later....  (add 1 week for $5 patrons and 2 weeks for the public release.)

Episode length

It's really difficult to capture pure "playtime per episode" as it depends on reading speed, FAP speed (LOL), how interested the player is in dialog, number of choices, etc. so I won't try, but here's some stats for each episode ... just for context.....

Day 1(Ep 1 &2 combined ):  Total images: 103  Lines of code:  3200

So an average of 50 images, 1600 lines per episode

Development Update # 1

Day / Episode Structure

Episode 5 is still progressing... I'm trying to move away from each day= 2 episodes, but it will take a couple more episodes to get there, so my current plan is:

 Episode 5 will cover approx. two thirds of Day 3

Episode 6 will cover the rest of Day  3 and some of Day 4.

Episode 7 - The rest of Day 4, including the Party!

Episode 8 - Day 5 in Full!

So the 3 "date" days will take 4 episodes, not 6.

Walkthrough in progress

Folks,  I'm currently putting together a walk-through for Episodes 1-3 and will publish for Patrons soon.  Haven't decided, going forward.. which patron tier levels the walk-through will be provided for.  But in the meantime, the first walk-through release (Ep 1-3) will be available for ALL patrons.

And regardless of the tier level decision, I don't ever plan on publishing a walk-through for the most recent episodes as they come out.  The latest walk-through will always be ...

Start of week Update

Productive weekend .  Definitely spent as much time as I wanted on the game, but felt a little bit like 3 steps forward, 1 step back.  Made good progress, but also ended up deleting a lot of stuff, scrapping renders and re-writing script, but that's the process.   Back on it tonight.

Still planning on having the next release in June (You Pay by the month, so I should always aim to release per month), but no exact date yet.  Sometime between the 25th & 29th is what ...
