Small update / Artemis Magnum

Hi, just want to let everyone know here that I'm not gone!
I just didn't have any ideas for a post in a while, my mental health isn't in the best place and it makes everything more difficult.

This is a little preview of my current project, Artemis Magnum. This is a RocketLeague car I'm converting to a Mini 4WD toy car, based on Magnum from an old anime I watched when I was a kid called Let's & Go. For that reason, I am also using my toon shader to render it.

KaioToon6 - Blender EEVEE Toon Shader

Hai! Here's the newest update to my personal toon shader, now called KaioToon.

  • Color ramps have been moved from the node group to outside giving you more control over the shading.
  • MatCaps re-done, should give you more accurate results.
  • Added normal map support.
  • Now  there's a Patterns node group instead of multiple variations of the  main Toon node group. You place it between the Diffuse RGB and Color  Ramps.

NOS FiveM Resource

Here's a Nitrous resource I made for myself and decided to make a public release.
**NOTE** The speedometer is NOT included, it's just so you have a visual way of seeing the effect. I will release the speedometer once its complete.

RL Diestro Widebody - EEVEE Animation & Cycles Renders - 1080p/1440p

Been really hyped about the new NFS game coming out and decided to do this render. Modified the Diestro model from RocketLeague with widened wheel arches and lowered bumper/skirt, new wheels and a spoiler.


Animation rendered with EEVEE, still renders in Cycles.

I couldn't fix the blocky shading at the top of the car, it only happens in Cycles.

Path of the Omega Donut - FREE with source files!

Couple years ago I started learning Blender with the help of Andrew's(BlenderGuru) Tutorials and now he started that same Tutorial with the new version of blender and what a better time to do this. I didn't originally intend to have a donut in this render but oh well, randomness makes for the best posts.


The animation was rendered with Cycles+OptiX RTX @96 samples and denoised with the new Intel Denoiser, ~27 seconds per frame, then the volume was rendered with EEVEE for quic...

RL Octane Retro Look - Desktop & Mobile 4/8k renders

Been learning a little more on lighting and composition of scenes and decided to test once again with a rocket league themed render. :)

Random Render #1

I can't get the previous' post to where I wanted to so I made this random render, which I think I'm gonna start doing regularly and see how I improve with time.

ToonShader Version 3 - Blender EEVEE

Here's the updated version of my ToonShader!

This version allows you to control both of the shadows individually, set the environment color which makes it easier for setting object colors. I also added a Normal input to the node group.
This also includes version 2 which allows to set as many shadow layers as you want but with the lack of control of each of them individually.

Will make a video explaining it all before the public release :)
