Hello. This fall is gonna be a bit weird! From September- maybe Mid November my spouse and I will have a lot of stuff to deal with!
Fantastic life stuff like our landlord being a wetsock! Even preparing to move twice in the span of weeks! Yeehaw! (but hey we got a house so no more landlords?)

Its only temporary, but I don't plan on taking a hiatus. I'm currently developing a workflow for a mobile setup. So far I've just tried procreate, and it may be promising.

I decided to butcher the page into sections, because it was kind of illegible initially.

This was fun to draw, But I really forgot how different this character's face is. In terms of proportions/features. It's been a while since I've had to pay attention to the consistency of of faces page-to-page.

I have been feeling stuck with my workflow for drawing an image:
Rough sketch, Construction, Refined sketch, Inks, Flats, etc.

This sequence of drawing isn't bad btw. But to me, it has become redundant and very time inefficient.  

So I've made some changes. My current workflow is:
precise sketch/ construction, Inks, Flats, etc.

It's faster, and I feel like it forces me to measure, and pay more attention to shapes.  Also I think it makes the end product more ...

Yeah I don't know what happened that month.

This project has been fun, I had a goal this year to nail down a quick art style for comics, and I'm not sure if I'm there yet.

The only solution to my problem, is to write and make more comics.
