I was all set to post my next Webtoons update and then realized that I'd laid out all the pictures but hadn't added the words. Whoops. Maybe I'll take a break from packing tomorrow and do that part. It's fun to re-cut everything.

Hello everyone!
Phil's been out planting things. We were at a community garden last fall, and there was a very friendly guy tidying up his plot who stopped work to talk to us. He gave us some ground cherries, which we'd never had before. They were so good Phil took a certain amount of trouble to find them this year so we could plant some. Thank you, generous neighborhood garden guy!
We keep being promised little thundershowers, but they have yet to arrive. I'd quite like some good...

Happy Mother's Day! to...well...anyone who would like one I guess. I'm pretty free with my happy day wishes actually.
It took me a while to get this lettered because I was making cookies for my Mom's present until late last night. I made powdered sugar tea cakes and chocolate chip, plus an angel food cake for tonight's dessert. The rest of dinner is being handled by Phil and the kids, so that's nice.

Hello all!
Here's Monday's page, and also pictures of the plastic jar my Mom gave me. It had stickum all over it from the labels (I think it used to hold stuff to mix for festive party drinks, goodness knows where she got it since she doesn't drink alcohol.) Hello!

I love the little free libraries around my neighborhood. I want to build my own sometime (later when I have time and money) and make it some kind of tiny book palace. I also like the little free art stations and pantries I see around. I even saw one where people were encouraged to leave jigsaw puzzles. Another month is roaring past. Our city is awash in cherry blossoms, it isn't too hot yet, and we're getting a lovely lot of rain.

So Bobo the Cat went in for dental surgery today and now he doesn't like me any more. I'm holding out hope that when the drugs wear off and he forgets about it all he'll want to sit with me again, but right now he's mad at me.

I'm in the middle of digging up a pile of Girl Genius art for Rain Games, so they can put some fun easter eggy stuff into the video game. They've given me a wishlist folder of low res pictures that they want better versions of, or in some cases, art without word balloons. So one of them was a picture of the Awful Tower in Paris, and we couldn't find the thing anywhere. I finally put it into Chrome and did a reverse image search, and it turns out they got this art off the Girl Genius Wiki page...

We're somewhat back on track! Hooray! Here's Monday's page, and I'm looking forward to seeing it in color.
I've been watching the entire backlog of Ask a Mortician on Youtube while I work. I especially like the episode about Lake Superior, where she talks about the wrecks of the Kamloops and the Edmund Fitzgerald. Good stuff. I didn't know the location of the EF was known, or that it was a designated graveyard. I'm glad of that last fact.

Well. As if to make up for getting things done so early last time, today's page is going up in black and white because Phil didn't get it drawn until about two hours ago. Even Cheyenne isn't that fast.
