EDIT: This has been updated from the original posting due to a slew of bizarrely negative messages arising from the intro to the episode. All is well now though, thanks for the support!
Since the news broke yesterday morning about MS stopping development on Paint, I've worked non-stop on this! It ended up being sort of a mini Tech Tales episode, with more nostalgia and opinion bits. So yeah, "retrospective," that works.
I knew that my odd late night research a while back on this wo...

Another nifty PC, but this is one that you probably wouldn't realize is a PC unless you took it apart!

Really got lucky with being able to cover this one! So far it's only been journalists from the likes of Wired and Kotaku getting to review the V, and I think I'm the first YouTuber that gets a crack at it before it gets sent off to Linus Tech Tips and TechnoBuffalo. So if you follow the big tech channels and see this, you can say you saw it here first ;)
But yeah, I got lucky as it turns out this machine is manufactured just a short drive from my house! The CEO even came over to hand-deli...

Toast sent me a Switch wrap made from real walnut, so let's put it together and see if it's worth doing yourself! EDIT: added a new outro showing the removal.

Time to talk about another machine I've wanted to show for years:
The Hewlett Packard J2300 series!
It's heavy, loud, and has a 100MHz 486DX4! What more could you want!
Except maybe a sound card and any sense of practicality, haha.

Lazy Game Reviews is eight years old, wow! To celebrate I'm doing something enjoyably ridiculous: building a modern PC into the case of an Altair 8800 Clone. Because why not.
This video has taken ages to put together due to a variety of complications and roadblocks, plus just getting all the physical resources together and the tedious editing process. Ended up with 4 hours and 100GB of footage by the time I was done, all edited down into 15 minutes. It was worth it I think, this turned ou...

Back from my short retreat to Knoxville, Tennessee over the past five days and feeling refreshed! Returning to work with a slightly different kinda video to post next week. Trying a slightly different hardware review format. Unscripted, not so heavy on history or deep technical details. Just more like "Hey look at this neat thing, isn't it neat? I like it and I wanted to share."
I've just got SO MANY funky machines that I want to talk about but have avoided since my 'classic' format is so...

Something different from my usual fare, kinda like what LGR Plays used to be but without the live commentary. Just happened to be capturing while playing this match in the game and decided to record some commentary over it afterward!

Had quite a few requests for this one, and hey, why not since it's a pretty recent ending to this story! It was surprisingly tough to put together any accurate early history at all on Mad Catz, but I pulled together some interesting tidbits I think. Hope you enjoy :)
