New update soon

Some have pointed out a few dozen issues with the last update.  There will be a new update over the next few days if things go smoothy.

A number of the issues were fixed over the previous few days, but I'll wait until I get them all fixed to post update notes.

Writing tryout application updated

It was down for about a month due, and had various issues since it was based on a much older version of the engine and tools.  I updated it bring it to parity and to make it easier to keep parity, and it's back up now.

The Alpha2 update should also be up on the main server in the next few days. Just tying up a few last ends!

Well, for now at least.

I'm not sure what changed. Maybe it's because I had her turned off for a day.

In the past she was relogging into Patreon and updating information every 6 hours since I was getting a lot of messages of people asking where their key was that couldn't wait a day.

So I don't know.. maybe if I cut her back to scraping every 24 hours, I won't have the problem.

Or maybe Patreon whitelisted her but hasn't notified me of that yet. That is what I request...

Patreon problems...

Sooo Patreon banned my bot. Probably just done automatically and not out of malice, but still, it's banned and I can't have it perform tasks for me using that site.

Working on a fix for the pledges not showing correctly

It looks like Patreon must have changed something, as everyone's pledge is showing up as 0 even though they pledged.

It might take a few hours to figure out what was changed in order to get this working again, since Patreon has no API, but your pledge amount should show up correctly soon, and you should have test server access again soon if you should have it.

I'm not going to rush to get the Alpha 2 update out. I want it to have more content, but lots still needs polishing up.  I don't want to have to like.. cut it to only be a third the content that's on the test server.

I'm also pretty exhausted, so I'm not sure when we can get this ...

Help needed to test a new update

I updated the test server with substantial recoding that could possibly create new problems. There's also a bunch of bug fixes, so it should be pretty much bug-free unless any of you find some new bugs, or I just missed something.

Preview of one of the new features being added

Here's a preview of the new input feature that's been added in.

It's something I've wanted to add for a long time, but took a while to figure out the right implementation that'd be flexible in how it can be used as well as polished.

We'll be using this for quite a bit of content in different ways really soon.

Working on issues with the new update

We found numerous problems with the update I'm working on, on the test server. So it's going to be going up and down and be pretty broken over the next few days as I look into the issues and get them fixed, and work on getting those new features made possible.

Alpha 1.3 is up on the main server

I’ve given a key to all accounts that were registered before August 1st, 2015. 4449 in total. If you have a key, it can be found on your account page.

Each key is a 2 use one, so those that get one can also share it with someone else to grant them early access to the main server as well.

I'm hopeful it's free of all the major issues now and I can start moving forward with new stuff. There's also content I've been wanting to write myself.
