Unlike the main cast which i kind of just spit out I took some more time to develop these guys. Party because I came up with them very early on in DOGHAUS but didn’t want to introduce them until the main cast was more established, and that took just about 200 issues. I had more time to think these guys through and play with their designs a bit more.

Moowsie’s First Comic (Blue Reed Academy)
When I was 13/14 I wrote and illustrated a pilot chapter to my beloved OCs, and have recently rediscovered the pages deep in my sketchbook archives
I have no idea if you all have any interest in reading it haha, I had a good time going through and seeing teen me start to get into comics (specifically with dog girl leads who have aversion to authority), and it makes me feel warm to see how far I’ve come :,)
It’s painfully made by a 13 year old mind you, but thought I’d share...

Had a mini Vacation!
Hi guys!!
Sorry I’ve been missing in action this past week and a half or so without saying anything :,)
The downside to being a creative is if you do too much you BURN OUT!! The big, scary “BO…”
Especially after The Lavender Variety, fundraising for the Maggie Plush, and keeping up with DOGHAUS uploads…it’s a whole lot. I just had to step away for a bit. I love what I do and wish I could just churn stuff out all the dang time truly I have a billion ideas alway...

Last year a friend and I created some characters for a collab comic we were fantasizing about about lesbian werewolves (because of course)
Nothing came about it because we were pretty busy, but we had fun drawing them and developing a style and drawing cute wolf girls
Maybe someday I’ll draw them again as character design practice, I had a lot of fun with these guys :•)

No Upload Tonight (+ Sunday Uploads Update)
Hey guys!
Over the next month or two uploads will no longer be strictly Sundays-due to moving out over the next month I’ve had to prioritize such.
You’ll still be getting issues early do not fret, it will just be less consistent than every Sunday. I’ll still try to aim for early in the week, but life has gotten busy with moving!

Hey guys no upload tonight! I’m currently in the early stages of moving and preparing for a hectic July :,)
Moving towards another short arc coming up soon which should be uploaded pretty regularly though so keep an eye out for that.!
Hope my fellow east-coasters are finding cold spaces during the impending heat wave…today already felt like I was melting haha
