This pool seems chill to vape at.
You know what? Personally, I like how this turned out. The architecture might be a little botched, but I did very well with the directional lighting. I also used AI-generated patterns and swirls to experiment with texturing and details.
I can't seem to nail what aesthetics I was trying to make of this drawing. Those photos of liminal poolrooms inspired me to draw this. This turned out to be more than just liminal uncanniness, however.

I played the first game around 2010 when I was a teen. Sadly, I didn't make it far because I scratched the CD when I tilted the Xbox upright while it was running :(
I however have tried playing the game through an emulator recently. It plays pretty well, and the controls don't seem to age really bad. But appearance-wise, things like foliage flicker about, and looking at the highest resolution of 720p up close wasn't preferable. Fingers crosse...
